Dean wasn't quite prepared for the enthusiasm of Seamus' hug and almost stumbled slightly, but he did return it with enthusiasm and a smile. "Hey, presenting myself on time for firework avoidance, I hope," he said, relaxing as he entered the familiar space, even if he was slightly being dragged.
Seamus' mother was as familiar as his own by now, although she elicited a slightly different response from him even if it was in the same general wheelhouse. "Hello, Mama F," he said, submitting to her examination. "Yes, sorry about that. And I'm sorry we missed you too." He glanced at his own hands as she let them go and winced. Not quite as clean as he'd intended.
"I should apparently wash my hands again first," he said, moving over to the sink as Seamus asked about the soup. "It smells great though, thanks for letting us invade."
