Gwenog had enjoyed the Harpies' victory on Thursday, but despite that she hadn't bothered much with Halloween. She'd been part of the wizarding world since she was a child, but before Hogwarts there'd never been much of a celebration, and now it was catching on with the Muggles too and everything was Halloween themed and she just couldn't be bothered. Plus their ideas about witch costumes weren't something she relished.
Instead of all that she'd decided to take herself on an evening run. Although there was no reason to be stupidly risky about it, so she'd decided to head for Wizarding London. The convenient park right on Monument Alley was ideal, and she could use her wand if she got into trouble.
She was on her third lap when she spotted another figure on the path walking ahead of her. Squinting slightly as she caught up she recognised the man. Recognising opponents at speed and distance was second nature and she slowed slightly, waiting until she was fairly certain he'd hear her footsteps pounding behind him.
