I'm so damned happy to have Tristan home again. I don't care what anyone says to me right now, I am so. Happy.

That's not a dare to say anything either.

I don't even care that I'm writing it here where everyone can see it. He's home.

	I didn't want to jinx it by saying anything before, but he's out on parole now, yes. I will definitely pass the word on to him. I'm going to bring him to get a journal from the pub soon. I'm glad. I know it won't mean shite to you but his release took the Aurory quite a bit of work to secure. Elements of the Council of Magical Law have been aiming to keep all convicted ~~Death Eaters~~ felons in Azkaban indefinitely, but we all observed Tris on our stints as guards and he definitely deserved his release.

I'm glad he's out and sorry I couldn't stop to congratulate him properly.

Thank you ~~I think~~ but I didn't do it because of mother, I did it because it's what I wanted to do. If it helps at all I get treated with less nepotism than pretty much everyone else in the department combined.

Well that's good. You looked well the other day, or at least, the glamour you had over yourself looked good. I'm glad Tristan is home and well, and I'll have to see him soon. I think Susan has some sort of dinner planned, which I can conveniently not attend if it would make you more comfortable.

I'm fine, busy with the promotion. Also there's a woman who's trying to convince mother that I got her pregnant with "the heir to the Montgomery line" despite the fact that I've never met her in my life.
