Penny watched with a bemused smile on her face; everything Lucy did, she did with speed. A very special little whirlwind who moved through the room with ease as she sought out the music and began to change it. Easy enough - the needle had been charmed to make it safe as Penny herself had come too close too often to breaking fragile records that she’d taken the step. And yet, even though she’d learned long ago not to try and predict the actions of Percys little girl she was still surprised at the change in direction.
“I ah…,” Not often that she was wrong footed but Penny wasn’t entirely sure how to react. It was a simple request and only her own foibles making it awkward. “For you? I’d risk more than a few squashed toes and my feet can always recover.” A quick glance down at her bare feet before smiling and moving a little closer. “Are you going to give me danger-points Lucy? I’m risking life and limb here!”
Conscious of where she was, with the sweet taste of halloween punch lingering on her tongue, the ward-smith moved closer to her closest friend and offered him a half-smile that curved up her lips. “Lists, scoring and evaluating others? Hmm I wonder just where Lucy got those qualities from?”
