There is nothing sadder than being up for days straight, trying to save an animal, only to not succeed. I tried, but it wasn't enough. Sometimes injuries are too much.

I feel like I haven't slept in days. Maybe I haven't. Dad isn't feeling well either. I'm not sure how much longer I can go on like this, but I guess I don't have much choice.

Oh, Luna, I'm so sorry.

You need to take care of yourself. How about I come over tomorrow, get someone to watch the store and you get someone to watch the vet, and you take a day for yourself?

It's just so sad when they die. That poor dog tried so hard to stay alive.

It is. I hate losing one, no matter the circumstances.

Me too. It's so sad. I understand when a pet is old and dying, but when it's so sudden it's worse.
