Dennis grinned at his friends and sat up, leaning against his pillows. He knew he'd get showered with presents that evening when he went home for a family dinner, but it was always nice to be pampered by Rose and Rolf. They were like his second family, and he knew how important christmases and birthdays were to them.
He took the box from Rose gingerly, inspecting it with interest. It was silver and embellished with a lion (of course) though otherwise appeared to be a normal box, that is until Rose summoned an identical one and put a bracelet in it. Quirking an eyebrow at her, he opened it up and saw the bracelet in his box. "This is amazing," he crowed happily. "I'll be able to send you messages and flowers and bugs and things when I travel!" Smiling, he hugged Rose warmly. "Thank you for the present."
Next, he turned to Rolf and smiled as he brought up a large wrapped bundle and a smallish one. Dennis lifted his eyebrows at the small parcel upon Rolf's declaration that it came from Morocco. Curiously, he unwrapped it and found a glorious gold lion's head cloak pin. "Godric's balls, this is amazing," he cried, hugging Rolf happily. Then, he turned his attention on the larger present, which he opened with the sort of lack of elegance common in the deeply curious. He sat back, whistling slightly as he looked at the bag. It was beautiful and being Wizarding made probably installed with an undetectable extension charm. Curiously, he put it over his head and felt his drop down over his shoulder and all the way to the middle of his chest before his head hit the bottom. "That's awesome Rolfie," he cried, launching himself across and peppering kisses on the other man's cheek.
"You two are the best, do you know that? I mean something I can put Rose in when I travel, and anothet thing that she can use to communicate with me while she's in the bag!"
