Rolf Scamander ([info]outofthewild) wrote in [info]finnigans_rpg,
He'd definitely missed her; missed this, too, but not just this. He'd worked hard to keep his promise, and he'd only been down at times. But it was so wonderful to have her home again, and he could feel his heart lift just by being around her. And the warm feeling suffusing him from the moment their lips met didn't hurt one little bit.

"I thought you should have been home earlier, but delays happen." He knew that very well from traveling, and he also knew she'd have contacted him if she'd needed assistance. "Another twelve hours and I'd have been hunting for you though." And making sure she was safe, mainly. Delays were one thing, absurd delays another.

He chuckled warmly, following her easily even as his hand plucked playfully at her towel. "I see how it is. You like the bed better than me," he teased, eyes glinting at her in amusement. He took a couple steps forward and picked her up, not hard to do with their height difference, and pretended to start putting her over his shoulder, expecting fully to be smacked for that one. "You'll be very glad to know that the bed and I have both missed you and have looked forward to your arrival."
