Re: Bryony and OPEN - Afternoon
Viktor loved to see his children happy. And Halloween made them very happy. Very hyper, but very happy. Tsveta had very proudly chosen her costume all by herself this year -- she was a hippogryff, and the glamour combined with the costume parts made her quite charming and somewhat fierce. Misha was dressed in a little Snitch costume, which was Viktor's private joke to himself about chasing the little boy everywhere.
The little girl had forced him into a costume before they left, though. He had planned to go as his normal 'I'm a famous international quidditch player' costume, but when your little girl insisted, it was bad grace to not give in to her for something so simple. So he had turned himself in a "prince" for her, storybook style with a crown of her choice, even though he felt ridiculous.
They went for a late lunch at Finnegan's, before the parade started later. Best to fuel them up early, he thought, rather than let them get hungry during the parade. They headed up to the roost with all the beanbag chairs, and of course it was then that Misha took off as he was wont to do. In his costume, though, his already sometimes precarious balance was off, and he veered toward what would be a collision. Viktor swooped after his little Snitch and grabbed him up before he managed to actually run into the lady on the chair.
"So sorry," he apologized. "He gets away from me sometimes."
