Dominic and OPEN - Evening
As a child, Dominic had never been allowed to dress up as anything ”occult" for Halloween - no wizards, ghosts, demons or monsters. Instead, he'd been encouraged to dress up as his heroes; Luke Skywalker, Inspector Gadget, Robin Hood. Even now, long years after he'd theoretically escaped the judgement of his father's family and had learned about real wizards and ghosts and monsters, he found he wasn't comfortable with the idea of dressing up as something wicked or harmful. He knew it was irrational, but it was also harmless, so why worry?
He'd arrived back at Finnigan's around half seven to dismantle the pumpkin patch in The Roost and replace it with the usual dance club set up. That had given him time to pop home and change into his chimney sweep costume - something that would recall Bert from Mary Poppins to those with knowledge of the muggle world but that wouldn't mystify those without. It also had the benefit of being fairly comfortable. He grabbed his camera and apparated back to The Roost, settling down and waiting for other dancers to arrive - hoping that some of them would be in costume, too. It would make for better photos, if they were. If not, well, he was planning to head to Wingbeat later anyway.
