Journal: Latvian Quiet
Hello Crumpets, It's your intrepid traveller/journalist back from Latvia.

If you weren't aware that I was going to Latvia, don't worry; I wasn't aware that I was going to Latvia until four days ago, when I got sent there. It's very quiet in Latvia, a bit surreal. You feel as though you could watch the entire country rust, if of course rust wasn't a reddish colour which continues to be distrusted even fourteen years after the end of Communist rule.

But I digress. Latvia was fun! Insomuch as tracking down and interviewing possible informants about a human trafficking ring and freezing your balls off can be considered fun; which is to say it was interesting rather than fun.

That would be fabulous. I loved the Caribbean. Even if I spent entirely too much time under the water last time I was there!

Been trying some different stuff. But if you want meals for every day or for work or whatever, I'm rather stockpiled, especially if you like soup.
