Her brother the dark wizard - and witch - hunter. She felt pride mixed with sorrow, that his view of the world kept them from having any kind of conversation on it and devolved too quickly into reaching for wands for her to even get an explanation out. "Well best o'luck and well wishes to her," she said genuinely.
Her heart hurt at the way he avoided wven her name, but she hid it. Most of the world still thought they employed more than Medea and Pandora in the back, since the lie allowed Dora to retain more business in light of her reputation. But the truth was except for some holiday work, she did the bulk of all of it these days. "Aye," she said, falling into the comfort of the cadence more easily talking with him. "We keep a small stock of them year round, but there's always a big surge this time of year. We spend a few weeks in August preparing a bunch of them." She grinned a bit. "There is NO other way to pronounce it," she said with a sniff.
Dora nodded, packing the box away as she listened to him, watching subtly through the red hair. "I'd be happy to help," she said, though her nerves were already feeling a little fried being this near to him without them arguing. "I have samples of several styles of jacket that you can peruse as well as a catalog. Those are usually done to custom specs, especially for you Aurors. The chests are this way, though." She led the way back to the wall with them. "If none of these suit, customization is again an option, as well as adding features."
She tilted her head, not realizing it was something she did a lot. "Peacock, huh?" Oh there were jokes there waiting to happen, but she couldn't make them. "Well we can make every effort if you bring it in for us to examine. Success is not guaranteed, but wr can make every effort." It wasn't guaranteed for the sheer fact that some spells were unknown, and honestly thst some magical objects really liked themselves and refused to stay changed. Enough time as something could occasionally render it a magical personality of sorts.
