The shop is still bickering with our potions provider. We don't use heavy duty stuff, but there are certain charms that use different bases and potions to keep a charm stuck on it or imbued in it, so the fact that we're having problems means I'm going to be behind on a couple of big custom orders. Does anyone want to bid for a new short-term trial contract?

Adrian, you still do potions, right?

Or anyone?

I have a couple of weeks of buffer room, unless I can wiggle more out of my customizations.

Also, I'm obviously a... geek, is it? I'm impatiently awaiting my Charms journal. Heh.

	Good luck, the results should be impressive though. Nothing I have sent to you reacts with water. At least not in an explosive kind of way. Not in case of fire, I'm sure you'll have that under control, but they should at least be able to wash their colour changing things without it melting or corroding. Best of luck. 	Pandora, I have some stores in stock that might fit what you're looking for, and can set more up now for the weeks ahead, but what I have now I think could be a help in the meantime. Thank you very much. At least the tent orders won't have to wait. They're going to take forever anyway.

I'm doing all right. The shop has been busy, I have a new apprenticeship of sorts, and a much nicer place to live, so I have to call it good for the moment. ~~At least when I'm keeping busy.~~ What about you? It's been a while.

	Not necessarily. Lots of people do jobs they aren't enthusiastic about but have talent in the area and think that that is where the money is or are convinced to do something because of the talent and not the love. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	I know. It might not have been my first choice, but it is a good fit and most days I do enjoy it. Especially the days I get to experiment in the workshop on theories and new charms. Sure it might get dicey sometimes but it wouldn't be fun if it didn't. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

Thanks. I've worked hard to keep "her" legitimate.

Have an article coming in this one about what I'm calling the Mjöllnir-Stone charm. Held onto something with a rune, in this case a weapon, it's basically a recreation of an ancient charm that keeps others from picking up an object without being handed it by the owner. Like the Mjöllnir and Sword in the stone myths which as you know carry some magical truths. It'll also give the person attempting to do so progressively stronger "warnings" to cease and desist, in the form of something similar to lightning. It isn't deadly, just... persuasive.

I worked on it for several years with some books I found. Finally figured it out after I learned more rune work.
