Cho Quigley ([info]charmingcho) wrote in [info]finnigans_rpg,
Cho's smiled widened when he chuckled - he had a nice, deep laugh, and she felt it stir her - and then before she knew what had happened she was saying, "It really is gorgeous, you should come sometime," and she'd invited him over. It was true - the garden up there was lovely - but to invite him over, she felt momentarily mortified and truly surprised with herself. Wasn't he still married, anyway? She thought to herself that she must keep reminding herself of that.

"It all sounds delicious, the new chef over there must be much better than their last, you know I once got chips with cinnomon on them? And I'm not the only one," she told him while they divided up portions. Listening to his usual days, she stayed quiet and popped a piece of fried fish into her mouth. "You know, Roger's one of my closest friends, certainly my closest guy friend, ever, I'd say, and I love Quidditch, but it's never quite occurred to me what he might get up to during the day." She gave an embarrassed smile, "It seems like the more time passes since school, the less we all have time for something like that, just asking what are friends get up to on a usual week day." Of course, her days consisted of planning, billing, paperwork, crafting, so she couldn't blame her friends for not wanting the details of her day-to-day.

Shaking her head of the thought she smiled again and put up a finger as if to say one second and went to the mini fridge behind the Amanda's receptionist desk for two bottles of water. As she came back she asked, "And when you're not injured or practicing or sharing lunch with practical stranger?" with a smile.
