“In that case, please allow me to set that right,” Fin chuckled, placing the last of the boxes on the table, “although take-out on a rooftop doesn’t sound bad either. So…” Handing Cho a set of utensils from the bag, he began pointing out each box to her. “Got some steak and ale pie, shepherd’s pie, a serving of fish and chips and two salads. Wasn’t sure what you preferred so I figured I’d rather get too much.”
Taking a seat himself, he couldn’t help but be a little surprised at her question. “On a Wednesday afternoon? Uhm…” he cleared his throat and shrugged. “You’re friends with Davies, Right? I don’t think my Wednesday afternoons are all that different from his. Sometimes I’m on the Pitch or at the gym, if I’ve been injured I’ll be with the Healers or PTs. All depending on when the next match is, I could be strategizing with the team or going over old matches. And sometimes, like today, I have the afternoon off, and today I’m getting my broom fixed while having lunch with you.”
