Finally, the balloon started to rise - the feeling entirely unlike the quick, directed surge of kicking off the ground on a broom. This was more like... floating. It wasn't quite as action packed, but Dominic had to admit it was pretty cool. "I'm a handyman," he offered. "For Finnigan's, and for one-off projects." He moved to the edge of the basket, resting his hands on the lip after a quick look at the pilot to make sure it was alright. He didn't want to unbalance them, or anything.
"So what do you do for excitement?" he asked, looking over his shoulder at Marietta. She might not share his ideas of what was exciting - but there was bound to be something in her life she did find interesting or exciting, something she was passionate about, and Dominic was curious to find out what it was.
