Adrian grinned into her ear at her response. He loved that fire in her, even if it was the Gryffindor showing. When she started moving he couldn't help his natural response to following along, his body moving smoothly against hers. It wasn't that Adrian didn't know how to dance - he knew both the modern sense and the more traditional (which he'd already demonstrated to Alicia at Iris' ball) - but he was the last person to... Show off, he supposed. He didn't like the idea of people watching him do something. It's why he appreciated his time at potions work, solitary and quiet. The only people he even really let in on that, over the years, were his father, Draco, and he supposed Michael Corner, if you really pressed him.
Getting on a dance floor was just... the opposite of Adrian. But Alicia's body against and how obviously happy she was to have his arms around him, he moved with her and kissed her neck lightly. "Oh, now you must tell me about these highlights, what have you in mind for us, gorgeous?" His voice was still rough - the near-confrontation, the drink, the feel of Alicia against him - it was all there in his tone.
