RP: Lunch
Who: Susan and Adrian

What: Susan stops by Adrian's flat for potions and Thai food

Where: Monument Alley

When: Lunch time

Rating: SFW, but flirting?

Susan walked briskly up to Adrian's flat, glad that she'd taken the time that morning to dress nicely for the occasion - even if doing so had earned her a quirked eyebrow and a sarcastic comment from Harry and some of the other aurors at the office, not to mention a comment from a drunk patron exiting Finnigan's that very nearly earned him an extended stay in St Mungo's. Adrian always dressed nicely, and while her finely tuned Hufflepuff sensibilities told her that she needn't worry about such things, she couldn't quite bring herself to turn up for lunch with such an interesting person wearing an outfit that essentially screamed 'I am here to end you.'

Shaking her head slightly, she plastered on a smile and knocked on the door.

"I am in fact quite uninterested in people's bullshit. It's my charm," He laughed. "Is that so?" He asked, "I'm sexy to a swathe of people you know?" He must learn more about this, and at the very least put the knowledge away for later.

"I do imagine people underestimate you to their detriment far too often," he knew he'd never want to run into her in a darkened alley on the wrong side of the law. Laughing again because he couldn't help himself he gave her a surprised look, "Why Miss Bones, are you telling me I'm attractive? To you? The best looking Auror the Ministry has ever had the pleasure of hiring?"

He shook his head and waved off her apology, her ramblings about work sounding much like his own when he and his father got off on a potions tangent. He nodded, "Isla is a handful, I don't know how Alicia does it," he couldn't imagine having children, let alone twins, and alone.

"Though, Susan," he looked her square in the eyes, "I don't think it would be possible to forget you're a woman. You are an incredible example of one."

"I have a strict policy of only caring about the bullshit of the people I like," Susan said, smiling winningly. She returned his laugh with one of her own. "Oh yes, quite a few ladies in Law Enforcement swear black and blue that you left themblack and blue with hickies and lust after a night in. I'm even inclined to believe a few of them."

Her eyes grew very bright for a moment, and her grin could have frightened an Erumpent. "They do, Adrian. They really do." She quirked an eyebrow delicately, and shot him a half smile across the table. "You know perfectly well you're attractive Pucey, to me and many others. But are you saying, you find me attractive?"

Her eyes grew sad for a moment. "Yes, she is. I only wish she'd been able to..." she stopped and made a wry face. "She does it because she has to I think. I'll never forget what she was like on that day-" she broke off and shook her head. "Hardly good lunch conversation, even if it is about someone as beautiful and lovely as Alicia."

She leant back in her chair and returned his look. "Is that a fact? You're not so bad yourself, you know. Handsome, even."

"You forget though," he paused, "I don't like anyone." He said simply.

"You can't blame a man for having high standards, can you? And if they're bragging about it the next day, that only adds to my pride, right?" He grinned. "I do like hearing it either way, and yes, you are quite attractive, Susan, but you know that very well."

Their conversation about Alicia seemed to make both of them a bit too thoughtful for his liking and so he waved it off, agreeing with he in wanting to change the topic. "I'm handsome, am I? Tell me more," he cooed, leaning across again to grab at the spicy noodles. This time he reached around her, letting his body move into her space a bit more obviously.

"Really," she asked archly. "Not even me?"

Susan snorted and gave him a look. "High standards are perfectly acceptable. Sleeping with Olympia Blacken-White is not," she teased, a mocking look in her eyes. "Why thank you kind sir, always nice to be aesthetically appreciated by someone such as yourself."

She leant back and looked him up and down slowly, before shrugging. If he wanted the game, she'd play. "Well you have the whole rugged good look things, and the ten foot stares that promise all sorts of interesting and surprisingly flexible positions to anyone who approaches," she said, pausing to take a bite of her food. "Plus the hands, love a man with big hands." She smirked as he rather openly entered her personal space. "Is there'd something you'd like?"

"Oh, you're tolerable," he answered with a smile. "And for your information, Miss Blacken-White happens to have certain not-entirely-public talents," like her incredible rack, even if the rest of her was less than desirable.

"Ten foot stares," he repeated, smiling brightly. He nodded along with the rest of her description, love the sound of the words in her voice.

"And my hands can do a lot," when she asked if he wanted something, he moved in a bit further, "Nothing that I haven't already got, but it's always nice to have more," he was practically behind her now, having reached around her for the dish. He spoke low, his mouth just behind her ear. "What more could you want in this world, Susan?" His voice was light but his tone still low.

"Oh thank Helga I'm tolerable," Susan replied glibly. "I'd so hate to be intolerable." She rolled her eyes and looked at him with a vast sense of amusement. "Let me guess, the fact that she has boobs that can be used as emergency floatation devices in the event of an plane crash helped you gloss over her complete and utter lack of a cement personality?" She felt a bit catty, Olympia wasn't so bad really, but her tendency to send out mass memos when she couldn't spell a word was slightly terrifying and highly irritating in equal measures.

"Yes," she said primly, delicately dabbing at the corners of her mouth with a napkin. "Ten foot stares."

Instead of answering his rather brazen questions, she stood up, pulled his face down to hers, and kissed him. "That would be a nice start," she said, breaking away and smiling.

When she kissed him and then stopped for a moment, smiling, he stepped back and stood more straightly, wrapping an arm around her, "A nice start, yeah?" He asked before swooping in for another kiss, lightly teasing her bottom lip.

She had fantastic lips, and he took his time enjoying them before stepping back once more. "You should really come over for lunch more often," He chuckled with a smile before grabbing the noodles he'd originally rounded her for and kipping back to his stool. Digging back into his lunch, he looked her up and down, "Yeah, you really should," he gave her a smile (fork mid-air) that would've melted the coldest woman's heart.
