"The right boss makes a world of difference," Ernie said with a nod, though he was concerned with the statement about Theodore 'not thinking he could do better'. Ernie was of the unfortunately idyllic point of view that one should love what they do and that be the reason why they work there, rather than being there because they 'couldn't do better'. He tried being supportive with a shrug.
"Well, we're young so there's still plenty of time to figure out what you want or what plans you'd like. As long as you're happy there, that's a good thing, right? For me, I loved working many different wards, since we spent some time in different ones during training, and I just felt an affinity with the patients there. Also, a friend's parents are there and it's nice to watch out for them for him."
