"He's great," Seamus said. "Really enthusiastic, already coming up with new ideas, calls me sir." He gave her a sort of crooked smile. He still hadn't completely got used to that, but if that was what made Romeo's mother happy, he could cope. His smile fell a little at the mention of Dean, but he shrugged. "I haven't really seen anyone, unless they've come in here. Busy planning the raffle and getting Romeo's group set up and planning for Halloween." That last was more or less a lie, he hadn't started thinking about Halloween yet except for ordering food — lot of pumpkins, of course.
He listened to Susan's sudden deposit of all her news in practically one breath and raised an eyebrow. "Boyfriend? Eddie stepped up, then?" Last time they'd talked about it, Susan hadn't seemed sure what was going on. "There must be something in the air." First Dean, now Susan. Or technically, perhaps Susan had been first. Not that it mattered. It was just that this situation was rare - both his best friends dating at the same time. At least Justin was getting his schedule sorted and Seamus could see him more often. "And Rose and Rolf, too? That's nice." He didn't know either of them well, but it only confirmed his 'something in the air' theory.
