Susan assessed the slightly quizzical way he returned her gaze and nodded to herself, the way he fiddled with the cards seemed slightly jerkier than usual but he wasn't being an actual jerk which was good. If he was being a jerk to her than it usually meant that he was well on the way to a man pain meltdown. "Well that's-" she stopped and watched as the food was delivered, noting the tortillas with interest.
She smiled at him and nodded. "Thank you, charming, that's a relief!" She quirked her brow at his definition of new and straightened her shoulders, wondering if she was going to have to pull pieces of information from him with a vice or maybe it would be worthwhile having a trainee tail him. Shaking her head, she took a tortilla and dipped it daintily in salsa. "Very nice," she commented after a moment. "The food seems excellent, what's he like?" She took another spoon and ate it thoughtfully. "Dean mentioned you took him to see your parents but that he hadn't seen you much since then?" She continued to eat her tortilla and cheese and went over what was new with her for a moment. "New with me? Hmmm well I seem to have acquired a boyfriend, I'm looking for a new house, there seems to be an illegal crup fighting ring around somewhere, my father's currently in a fresh bout of depression and is on antidepressant potions again, I have to submit some Wizengamot nominations by next Wednesday, Rose and Rolf are dating, and Dennis has had two one night stands." She took a sip of water and thought for a moment longer. "Oh and my dog likes eating roses, which is odd but what can you do."
