Seamus had been up in The Roost, finishing off a tour of the pub for a customer who wanted to host a private function. With more and more activities filling up the pub's schedule, it wasn't something they did regularly any more but it had been a major source of income when Seamus had been starting up and still seeking people to run the various activities. He was leading Mr Farling back down the stairs when he side-stepped to avoid his messenger, panting after having run first down and then up the stairs in search of him.
"Well, Mr Farling, you know how to reach me once you've decided on a time and date," he said, shaking hands before taking his leave. He rolled his shoulders as he walked to the bar, staying on the 'staff' side of it so he could convey their food orders to Romeo. He was pretty sure that Susan had a reason for being here besides just wanting lunch. It was something she did, anytime Dean started dating. She'd drop in with food (or willing to pay for food, since the pub had opened) just to see how Seamus was 'coping'. It was not a conversation Seamus wanted to have, and he was hoping he could forestall her.
"So," he said as he found her. "Romeo does these amazing crispy tortilla things you can use as spoons to eat salsa and guacamole and this amazing spicy cheese dip. What do you reckon, will that be enough food for you or should I get some pub classics too?" Susan's appetite tended to depend on what kind of work she'd been doing before her meal.
