Journal: Bill Weasley
There is no sound I enjoy more than Victoire and Dominique's giggles or the clink of coins in my pocket, but the silence of babies and goblins both in the evening is nearly as wonderful.

Today's observations:
Victoire's not content unless she's gone through at least three different outfits in a day, only wanted butter beans with tomato for lunch (disgusting), and asked for French plaits in her hair prior to bed.

Dominique continues to refuse my attempts to get her to stand unaided despite the fact that she is absolutely capable-- must outwit the clinging toddler tomorrow. Still dislikes eating carrot, but loved egg scramble.

Weasley III: still TBD

Bill! How are you brother?

You know perfectly well that the universe would not be right if Victoire didn't change outfits three times a day. Something would be deeply wrong. At least this is what I gathered the time she made me dress like a princess.

Seriously though, what's new?

I doubt even my charming, sweet daughter could make you do anything you didn't explicitly want to do, Roger.

And all is as its always been: happy, busy, not quiet, etc. There's no telling what tomorrow may bring. Are you well?

Okay yes I was totally happy to play dress ups with her, that's true but shhhhh, I have an image to uphold.

I'm really good too! Still mooning over the same person, and going to a family wedding soon. How're you? We must catch up soon!

Tsveta never did much with the outfit thing -- in fact, it was/is always hard to make her take off a current favorite. But then, she has had mainly men around her to care for her, so perhaps we are a bad influence.

Ha. And here I also have trouble getting Misha to STOP his running. Perhaps we should just put them together and they will rub off on each other, da?

It's the same with Vic-- she's just moves very quickly with her favor from one to another. I would never call you a bad influence, friend.

If he were to challenge Dominique to a race, I'm sure she would more than happily disentangle herself from me. Regardless, I've been told to enjoy this phase of her life while it lasts.

I'm not sure Tsveta's slow change of mind is a good or bad thing yet, but it certainly makes her incredibly stubborn at times.

It is an enjoyable phase. Some days I wish Misha were back there, but there is something at every stage, I think.

Even if I'm tempted to paint him gold and put wings on his back at the moment.

Fleur doing well? I've been meaning to visit but training has been very time consuming the last couple of weeks.

I believe I can convince your child to eat carrots.

Many vegetables, actually. The trick is to get them involved, in my admittedly limited experience. I could come, make individual sized shepherd's pies with her, get her excited about "making her own dinner"... and in the process, sneak many vegetables into the pie. She will be excited to eat it because she made it herself, and in this way we can get carrots, peas, even onion into her with little to no fuss! And potatoes also.

Oh come now, a bit of theatrical costume changing never hurt anyone. It's when they begin to require glitter explosions and an industrial mist and wind machine that you have to put your foot down. Which let's be real Bill, I still haven't forgiven my parents for denying.

Just kidding.

How are you dear?

Call me relieved. I'd hate to be a disappointment regarding my knowledge of industrial mist and wind machines.

I'm just as I always am; better than I deserve. The Ministry's treating you well, I trust?

Peace and quite are certainly things to cherish. Thankfully, Lucy is nowhere near as picky as her cousin with food or clothing, we merely need to worry about cleaning spells when she inevitably brings me soil-laden plants and flowers. Yet another reason I suspect her of being a future Hufflepuff.

We must get the girls together sometime soon as Lucy has been asking to play with her cousins. Also, have you plans yet for Hallowe'en? The four of you are welcome to join us for trick or treating in our neighbourhood.

I'm sure Dominique and Victoire would love a playdate with Lucy soon. As for the holiday, I was rather hoping that Mum would invite us all over for dinner before or after the costumes came out. I'll see what Fleur has planned.

Not even your lovely wife's voice? Outdone by coins, I never thought I'd see the day.

The fact Victoire is down to only three a day is a victory.

Dominique has her papa wrapped around her little finger and knows he will pick her up if she pouts long enough.

My thoughts regarding your voice are of a much more private nature.

I want to hold Dominique for as long as I can, and I want Victoire to be as happy as she possibly can be, but I'll be happy to have less laundry to sort and the use of both my hands when I'm around Dominique at some point in the future.

I suppose that's an acceptable excuse.

If it's not one mess it will be another.

Of course it is. I certainly wouldn't ask you to wax poetic about me and my manly features in a public forum.

Another?
