But back to your question, which I forgot to answer. I've left it reasonably open. About the only thing I've established is that it was an arranged marriage and she's nine years younger than Isidore so he was 30 when they married and she was 21. It probably wouldn't be right to say he loves her but he does like her and respect her, they have a companionable and steady relationship. He does spoil her as he does Dulcinea, giving her just about anything she wants. He feels that's his job as her husband and as the head of the family - to spoil his womenfolk. :D
