Avengers Assembly [Invisionfree] : Looking for Tony Stark

avengers assembly is currently looking to fill the role of tony stark on our advanced and literate site set in an alternate marvelverse. following a government-initiated program gone wrong, washington d.c. has fallen to an army of supervillains genetically engineered and bred to overtake the united states. though the government is currently still intact, it is only a matter of time before more cities fall and the nation succumbs to chaos and terror. with normal firepower essentially ineffective against these supervillains, the last hope of the united states and the rest of the world rests on the shoulders of superheroes.
as the head of one of the most advanced weapons development companies in the world and a superhero himself, tony stark is needed in the fight against these villains as superbeings from around the nation band together to face this new threat. amongst them, pepper potts and a 30 year-old howard stark (trust us, it works) are eagerly awaiting their favorite billionaire playboy/loser son.* though tony is one of the most important marvel characters, we encourage you, in the spirit of comic books, to amend tony’s canon history to fit both your realization of the character as well as our plot. we do not align as either strictly comics-verse or movie-verse; most of our characters are a combination of both, and we leave it up to each individual player to decide how he/she wants to portray the character.
given tony’s importance and the general advanced level of our site, our selection process will be stringent, but we are excited to receive and read your applications. we promise lots of fun, plot twists, and the coolest people in the world. what better way to join our community than as one of the most ridiculous, yet also rich and powerful characters in the marvel universe?
