Has anyone seen The Decoy Bride? I'm looking to expand and tweak the plot of the movie.
Basically, this woman is hired to be a decoy for an actress who's getting married and a romantic comedy plot ensues. I'm looking to play the guy in this equation: A guy with the seemingly perfect fiancée who gets tangled up with someone a little more ordinary and has to decide whether perfect is really perfect for him. He's been allowed to coast through life a little too long and needs something to shake him up.
We don't have to follow the decoy for the famous bride plot, either; I'm mostly interested in the dynamic of everyone's dream girl vs. what you didn't know you wanted. If you've got a framework that you think will incorporate that dynamic, toss it at me!
