Searching for games on my own has proven futile, so I'm hoping someone here can help me find a game to house a character or two.
A Bit About Me I'm an experienced writer, well over age limits, etc. I prefer threading over logs, when it comes down to the wire, because I have issues with AIM's length limits. I've written quite a few Death Eaters in the past and I can write and handle dark content, though I'm likely a bit rusty when it comes to the writing part. I write third person, past tense for threads and regular first person (no ::action:: or *action*) for journal entries.
Really, the main reason I'm having such a hard time finding a game is that I really want a smaller (110 characters is too big), active game where I can write a character who will challenge me. I have a couple characters bubbling in my mind that I think would be more of a challenge than others, but I would also be open to considering characters I haven't listed before. Really, I want someone who will have a potential storyline or two that could engage me.
Characters I Could House Character: Pureblood Female Slytherin - Name Debatable (Pansy Parkinson, either Greengrass sister, etc.) PB:Michaela Drotárová or Eglantine Rembauville Thing(s) I'd Like For This Character: It's been ages since I've played a Slytherin, and it's something I miss terribly. I'd like some housemates and, if there's a need for a character with a certain mindset (pro-pureblood or sympathetic toward the other side), I would like for at least one or two other characters to be there whom that character could turn to for a like-minded conversation. I am very active with my Slytherins, and I'd like for there to be something for them to do.
Character: Bellatrix Black (Lestrange?) PB: Depends on Setting Thing(s) I'd Like For This Character: I play a rather vicious Bellatrix. I would like for there to be something for her to do, outside of teasing ickle little Sirius and his friends, and I would like to know what it is outside of "potential plot" going in. I'm very detail oriented when it comes to Bellatrix. I would also like to discuss what state Bellatrix is in with her marriage to Rodolphus, if there is a Rodolphus in game (and if they're married), before going in. The last is more for my own sanity over anything else, as it makes it easier to figure out what her mindset would be when I have a full range of knowledge.
Character: Andromeda Black (Tonks?) - PSL Pending
Character: Fleur Delacour (Weasley?) (I would also consider trying my hand at Gabrielle, if the game setting would allow her to be old enough to be played.) - No longer on the market
Character: Viktor Krum PB: None Yet Thing(s) I'd Like For This Character: I'm not perfect at it, and I'm a bit rusty to boot, but I have a very base hold on Bulgarian. If I could get a place to put Viktor where he could somehow contribute to plot and do something besides make Hermione blush, it would be lovely. He is a famous Quidditch player, so it seems like there should be more to his life than going around and playing tournaments. Surely, he has some enemies, people he's upset outside of Ron, etc.
Character: Percy Weasley PB: None Yet Thing(s) I'd Like For This Character: Percy is probably one of my favorite characters. I have the character extremely developed, but due to that fact I need to have some sort of storyline worked out with a person playing another Weasley before going into a game. I can talk more with anyone in-depth about my thoughts on Percy or my portrayal, but really he needs someone who can give him a slap to the back of the head (lovingly) and tell him he's being an arse and his family cares about him. He, really, needs an argument buddy where they won't stay angry at him at the end. A sibling line, really.
Again, as I said before, I would also be open to considering characters I haven't listed in the above. Really, I want someone who will have a potential storyline or two that could engage me. If anyone were interested in doing a PSL with any of these characters, I'd also readily (and happily) go that route. I just want something to engage me and have a bit of fun with it.
[ETA:] Canon vs. AU doesn't really matter to me, so long as the AU is slightly sensible. I don't want to see them suddenly turned into unicorns to be used in "Wizard Unicorn Theme Park!" by an evil mastermind or every gender being swapped. Harry isn't Harietta.
