Calling all Quidditch players!
If you're interested or have ever been interested in playing a professional Quidditch player, we'd love to have you take a look at AFRESH.
AFRESH is a trio-era AU set in 1998. The basic premise is that Voldemort was defeated in 1981, before killing the Potters. So many of the characters you love from MWPP are alive and well. The game is cross-generational, but one place I'd love to see even more growth is in the Quidditch community. The 1998-1999 season starts September 5, try-outs just happened, and lots of trades and changes have been happening. So it's the perfect time for you to jump in with a new character!

Otherwise, we ARE accepting OCs, though all we ask is that you use a canon surname (as there are tons listed in the Lexicon and on the Wiki).
We'd love to see some more positions filled, especially on the teams with fewer in-game characters. It's always great to have a rivalry going once the season starts up! If you have any questions, please ask.

This girl, Hyacinth Higgs, needs her people over at ![[info]](https://www.insanejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) acidpop_mod! It's a social game set in the next generation (Teddy's a seventh year) with a ton of cool stuff planned for the year. Hyacinth is a fourth-year and the daughter of Terence Higgs and Pansy Parkinson, and though she's not as snobby as her mum she still likes to float around in the same circles as the powerful and the well-connected. I'd love to see some people for Hyacinth to dream about befriending-- students in higher years with good family reputations, and the like-- but that's definitely a little further down the road. In the short term I'd be thrilled to have people to fill out her social group (she's popular among her year, but she can't very well be without other social stars to be associating with) as well as the more unfortunate end of the spectrum, the people who are on the receiving end of her and her friends' comments.
TL;DR: people who can pretty much help me make the Plastics of Hogwarts happen (because unlike fetch, it's going to happen) only about a trillion times more fantastic in every way you can think of. You know you want to.
