Hola! I'm writing to you guys on behalf of ![[info]](https://www.insanejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) commandpost, an AU Marauders Era RPG where Grindelwald was never defeated. It opens May 10th, so don't miss out!
WTF is this game about?
The defeat of the infamous dark wizard Gellert Grindelwald never happened. Instead Dumbledore sat idly by as Grindelwald's control continued to spread through Europe. By 1978, only a few countries remained free of Grindelwald's regime of pro-dark arts and anti-muggle sentiment. But for how much longer will that be the case? The year is 1980, and Grindelwald's influence has begun to creep into England. From the struggle emerge The Knights of Walpurgis, prepared to wreak havok in Great Britain to further Grindelwald's aims, and the Order of Phoenix, who seek to preserve the rights and freedom of wizard and muggle kind alike. You can read more here. Why should I join?
- The Order and "Death Eaters" (known as the Knights of Walpurgis and in no way affiliated with Voldemort in this 'verse) will be formed after the game begins. So, you get to explore your characters' reasons for joining.
- Arguments about blood purity have been put on the back burner by Grindelwald. This makes for infighting about it within the Knights of Walpurgis and potentially less polarization between the Order and Knights.
- Instead of being confined to England, there's potential for plots to take place in other countries as European groups and leaders may work together advancing their aims. This means there's tons room for world building abroad and chances to explore your characters in these environments. Breaking and entering in unknown territories? Getting wrapped up into blackmail schemes in exchange for information? Hijacking? Piecing together information? Organizing coups? Only the beginning.
Who are you looking for?
We're on the hunt for James Potter & Lily Potter. Right now, we have a fantastic Sirius Black and Remus Lupin waiting on both.
Minerva McGonagall. That's right, we're looking for everyone's tartan-wearing, farmboy-loving badass and the love of Gideon Prewett's life. Plus let's be honest, there's a lotta testosterone ready to run amuck in the Order right now.
Likewise, it would be incredible to get some more Knights of Walpurgis (young and old)! Augustus Rookwood and Philip Gibbon, for example, need friends. Or enemies. Any flavor of the Walpurgis rainbow will do, really: Yaxley, Antonin Dolohov, Nott, Walden Macnair, Yaxley, Mulciber Sr., Avery Sr., or even Karkaroff. Snape and his friends will also be great additions if that's more your style.

Hi everyone! This is Marcus Flint, and he's from an apocalypse game set in 2013 (![[info]](https://www.insanejournal.com/img/community.gif) endgamerpg via endgamemods). He's a former Quidditch player and currently owns an upscale club in Diagon Alley. He's married to Millicent Bulstrode and they have two children, Ilithyia and Gaius. They've been married since 2007. It's not a love match. In fact, Marcus is gay and few people are aware of this fact; Millicent is one of them. Anyway, I'd love to see her in game, and there are other characters who'd love to see her too. Comment here or PM if you want to chat about it. I promise much fun times!

Hey everyone! I'm writing on behalf of everyone over at assimli! We're an established and active game that's very welcoming and very open to new players and ideas. We're a next-next generation game (So Harry and Co's grand kids!), and the plot is bountiful and easy to get into.
We've got a small Wish List of people we'd love to bring into the game, and aside from that we're looking for first and second years, as well as active players who are just looking to have some fun and be part of a drama free environment and get back to just plain old fashioned rp fun.
