Coming to you from We Are At War, via ![[info]](https://www.insanejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) atwarmod. We are a new game opening on April 13th, set in the spring of 1996. The game is mostly canon. Voldemort rested, recruited, and schemed during his first fall/winter back in a body, and has only recently began causing trouble. The game follows the adult characters -- the Order members, the Death Eaters, the Aurors, the civilians -- who were caught in the first stirrings of that war.
There are a few characters we'd like to see in particular, which are listed here. They include:
Fleur Delacour: I play Bill, of course I'd love a Fleur. Not just for the obvious reasons, but a little insight into how the rest of the world views England's current mess could be fun to play with. Plus, the Order would appreciate it if she were initiated and could help them as they smuggle muggleborns and other DE targets across the channel to France.
Nympadora Tonks: Bill would like his good mate around, especially since he just got back in country, and she totally owes him a 'beer. Despite whatever she has to say about it, it really is her turn to buy, and he'll accept no arguments to the contrary.
Amelia Bones: I also play Wilhelmina Grubby-Plank, who would love to have other middle-aged badass women around. Amelia in particular would be welcome as the Head of the DoMLE and the (apparently only) voice of reason on the Wizengamot.
Rufus Scrimgeour: Now here's a man with all the best intentions and all the worst ways of going about it. An auror who fully believes that Voldemort has, indeed, returned. But he'll have nothing to do with those ridiculous Order fools, no, he wants to become Minister of Magic, because he knows how to fix the country, if only he had the power. The potential for machinations and well-meaning dickery with his character is massive.
The Malfoys: As well as being the only truly rich family left since the Blacks died out (because Sirius doesn't count), they also have the largest estate in wizaring England. And Voldemort isn't above taking it and using it for his own personal training ground for his new recruits. I'm quite sure Narcissa is not pleased with all those plebeians living in her house, but there's really not much she can do about it, is there?
OCs: The game is open and friendly toward OC characters of every age and station, so long as they are related somehow to a canon character. Parents, cousins, and siblings of all our beloved Hogwarts characters are welcome to join in!
