We're looking for a few good men and women to join the Auror Corps at Absit Omen!
Absit Omen is a canon-compliant game, set in mid-2009 eleven years after the Battle of Hogwarts. We accept both canon and original characters. Our focus so far has been mostly on originals, but we would be happy to get some characters from the books as well.
Aurors: We are looking for more aurors! We have an active auror corp, but could definitely use some more hands on deck. There are lots of fun plotting opportunities here. If you'd rather adopt a character, there are some ideas posted here.
Auror Trainees: We would absolutely LOVE some active trainees! We just got our first young trainee this week, and he would love some company - so it would be awesome to get some recently graduated characters training to become aurors. We have a group of soon to be graduating 7th years who want to become aurors- so the trainees will have tons of plot opportunities soon. And, in the mean time, they can do their training and thread with the full aurors.
Future Aurors: With a handful of 7th years ready to go into Auror training, a few more would be great! We are in May play time on our board, so the 7th years will be graduating soon and moving on to their future careers. Some more up and coming trainees would make things a lot of fun if you want to play your trainee before they even enter the Auror Corps!

Hey, Weasleys! Bill, Charlie, and George- where are you? Or what about Penelope Clearwater or Fleur Delacour? Alicia Spinnet certainly could use her friends Angelina Johnson and Katie Bell, and our resident Hufflepuffs miss Justin Finch-Fletchley, Zacharias Smith, Susan Bones, Megan Jones, and Ernie Macmillan, too! Daphne Greengrass needs her sister Astoria, and Padma Patil needs her twin Parvati, too!.
Six Degrees is an AU game set in 2006, focusing on social interactions, character development, and the less-than-ordinary connections found nearly ten years after the war. ♥

Ron, George, Charlie and Bill would love to see their Mum in game. Even though we don't have him in game right now, Fred is back too! You've got a grandchild already in the form of Victoire Weasley, and though no one knows it yet, but Charlie's about to find out he's got twins on the way! (And yes, that's right, he and his girlfriend Katie Bell are not married. You've got some nagging to do!) Not to mention, Harry and Hermione would love their surrogate mother, Remus Lupin is dying (well not literally, he did that once already) to trade recipes with you, and Tonks, well... she just wants to eat your food and trip over things, probably. Oh and did we mention, your brothers Fabian and Gideon are back? And not only that, but Gideon just proposed to Amelia Bones, who is pregnant with his child?
Consequences is a post-DH (non-epilogue obviously) compliant game where someone has messed with the veil in the Department of Mysteries and now people are coming back to life. Not only that, but each Returned One comes with a price. Every time an RO steps through the veil, a muggle loses it's soul and becomes a Minferi. Dun dun duuun!

Good evening!
I'm looking for one of two kinds of games.
1. Post-DH (as in right after) where I could play one of the following characters
Harry Potter, Ginny Weasley, Andromeda Tonks
OR
2. Marauder/First War where I could play one of the following characters
Sirius Black, Andromeda Tonks, Lily Evans
I'm open to other characters as well, so let me know what kind of game you've got and I'll take a look at it!
