Hey, guys! My name's Esh, and I mod The Last Hurrah!. TLH! is a 9-week long nextgen summer based PSL that follows the class of 2023 after their graduation from Hogwarts. (The class of 2023 is the contemporaries of James Sirius Potter II; this includes Molly Weasley II, Fred Weasley II, Louis Weasley, and the Scamander twins.) During this summer, 40 kids who have known each other for nearly their entire lives will become 40 adults with careers, responsibilities, and - most importantly - flats of their own. We're aiming to focus intensively on character development in a friendly, social environment, and plan to hold frequent memes and game events to encourage both! TLH! was mainly designed to provide a fun game for people who have some extra free time in the summer, but want to buckle down during the fall.
Our official open is on 6/15, but we started doing pre-game memes after our soft open on 6/10. If you have any other questions, check out the mod account (this one!) and don't hesitate to ask me anything you can't get from there!
Right now, we're really just looking for any and all characters, so don't hesitate to check us out even if what you have in mind isn't someone we're asking for! Specifically, we'd like to see:- James Potter II, Fred Weasley II, Louis Weasley - aka the Weasley cousins (along with Molly Weasley II, who we have in-game).
- Hufflepuffs and Slytherins! They're quite underrepresented at the moment.
- Boys from any House!
- Characters of color! We have a whole lot of caucasian characters in game/on hold at the moment, so it would be nice to have black/Hispanic/mixed/Asian/etc characters in game.
Personally, I play Dru McLaggen (![[info]](https://www.insanejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) mcswaggen) and Issy Rhie (ohrhiely), and they could use:- More Quidditch bros/bros in general for Dru! Currently he has Todd Whitby (whittled) and his best lady-bro Amabel MacDougal ([Bad username: macdougie),]extra</i> awesome.
- Boys for Dru to experiment with? Weird sexual tension with Todd aside, Dru is anxious to try fooling around with a boy to satisfy his bicuriousity so he can figure out what his orientation is and just come out already.
- Enemies! Dru is fairly gregarious but he does have a tiny bit of a temper. I'd love to see someone - a Slytherin Quidditch rival, maybe? - take advantage of that.
- A girl for Issy to crush on. She's known she liked girls for a while, but she's been keeping it under wraps. But pining is fun! Her silent sapphic love can be requited or unrequited; I don't mind.
- A beard for Issy. She's dated boys before and fully plans on marrying a man for his money/power/status/etc. Got a character with a Pureblood name or Ministry ambitions? She'd love to hang off his arm.
- Friends for Issy! She's the lone Slytherin right now and it's quite distressing. She's a Queen Bee type and needs fellow ambitious ice queens to gossip with and stab in the back.
- A Head Boy. Issy's time as Head Girl was the best of her life; did the Head Boy make it more fun for her or was he the only bad thing about the job? :O
We've already started doing memes and they're CRAZY FUN (you can go creep on them at ![[info]](https://www.insanejournal.com/img/community.gif) thelastooc if you want to), so please please please take a look, put in a hold, and app sometime before game open! Trust me, you'll want to have the chance to get a handle on your character and their relationships with their classmates before the game starts.
