Six Degrees (![[info]](https://www.insanejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) sixdegreesmod) is a social game set in 2006. We've been around since December 2010, and we have a great group of very welcoming players- and we'd love to see you join us! Especially if you're bringing along...- Justin Finch-Fletchley, Zacharias Smith, Ernie Macmillan and other trio-year Hufflepuffs -- We're definitely lacking in Hufflepuffs right now, especially those of the male variety. Wayne and Hannah recently got married, and Sally is dating Oliver Wood, but they definitely want their yearmates around too!
- Luna Lovegood -- To complete the alternate trio of awesome, with Neville and Ginny!
- Gwenog Jones -- The Holyhead Harpies are going through some drama right now, and Captain Gwen is definitely needed to help cool the cat fights!
- Hufflepuffs from the Class of 1994, including Augustus Pye -- We've already got a Big Bang Theory cast member thing going on with Jim Parsons and Kunal Nayyar as Patrick Spinnet and Paresh Patil. They were both Hufflepuffs c/o 1994 and we think it would be awesome to get the other boys from BBT as the PBs for their other dormmates (Johnny Galecki and Simon Helberg)!
- Blaise Zabini, Theodore Nott, and other Slytherins/former Death Eater-sympathizers -- To make Draco uncomfortable.
- Andromeda Tonks -- Narcissa may want to mend fences with the past, but do you?
- Ron & Bill Weasley -- Our two missing Weasleys.
- Penelope Clearwater -- Percy would like to have some friends in the game! Or at least someone to drag him away from work every now and then.
- Quidditch players, Daily Prophet employees, Healers, and more!

Hi! My name is Emily, and I have two characters at Contagion, a game that combines next-gen with the OMGPLAGUE! concept. Set in 2023, Hogwarts has been closed for several years due to a disease that started there and spread across wizarding Britain. During that time, children of school age were homeschooled or attended other schools instead - Durmstrang, Beauxbatons, Salem, or one of our original schools like Doovalacky in Australia. Now that the virus is over and the castle is clean, Hogwarts has reopened with a special summer term for select students, to prepare for the start of the full term in September.
My characters are Coronation Street Pye, a 6th-year Hufflepuff, and Colleen Creevey, a 4th-year Ravenclaw. Corrie is the daughter of a Quidditch player and went to Durmstrang for the Quidditch program, and like her sister Hollyoaks in Gryffindor, was made captain of her house team at Hogwarts. Unfortunately she recently lost captain due to sneaking into the Forbidden Forest for the second time since the term started on April 18th. The first was on a dare, the second was an attempt to find a unicorn and she and the two schoolmates she'd tricked into coming with her were captured by centaurs and had to be rescued by the DADA professor. Colleen is a bleeding heart animal lover who went to Beauxbatons and was highly unpopular for accidentally bringing the virus with her when her family moved to France.
Characters I would love to see in the game:
- 6th year Flint boy, particularly if he could conceivably be a Hufflepuff (the old one was, and he and Corrie were friends)
- 6th year Hufflepuffs
- Non-cuddly Hufflepuffs
- Hufflepuff boys
- People who could be on the Hufflepuff Quidditch team
However, since one of the features of the game is that characters get sorted as you submit them, ( here is a less house-dependent list! )
Dominique Weasley and the Scamander boys are also open if you want a canon kid!
