Hello, my name is Katie. *waves*
I run a very casual AU game set in the 80's. The concept is that Lily and James don't die and Sirius doesn't go to Azkaban. Voldemort still 'dies'.
At this point the plot is mostly focused on James and Sirius being on the Wizengamot and fighting for Werewolf rights.
We have a good sized cast and the game is very active.
Our James recently had to leave and we really need a new one. Our James wasn't a very active player, so the spot should be easy to fill. You wouldn't have to worry about continuity.
I'm a very relaxed Mod and I give a lot of leeway with character choices (especially as this is AU).
I only have one request. We need our new James to support Lily/James pairing, as our Lily pretty much plays FOR IT. So no slashing of James please.

The best part of the game, is that we run it very casually. We don't have too many rules. It's more for fun than anything else. It's a great way to make friends.

I used to play in Harry Potter games all the time, and I've found myself missing the experience for a while. However, I'm only interested in the following: Lily Evans, Hermione Granger, and Ginny Weasley. I realize that's a gigantic longshot, for any of those three, but I've played all three ladies before and they're my favorites. :)
A few things about me:
- In my 20s, but definitely too old for drama. I remember when I last played HP, there was so much horrible crap that would go on among players; e.g., lots of backstabbing and gossiping and talking about who played a terrible version of [insert character here]. My real life is crazy enough. I'm here to play for fun, not for work or a prize.
- Experienced HP player.
- Prefer journal-based games.
- No time travel games, please!
