Hey everyone! I'm Jo and I play Pansy Parkinson and Penelope Clearwater at [info]the_8th_floor via [info]ministry_mod, which is a canon- but not epilogue-compliant post-war game set in 2005 centred around the Ministry of Magic and dealing with the challenges of keeping magic a secret in the information age, where every little magical slip-up can be caught on tape and immediately put on the internet before anyone has a chance to stop it.

Penelope could really use some friends. Age and former House aren't an issue with her, although Oliver Wood is available and more Ravenclaws would always be welcome. All she needs to be happy are nice people, smart people, people willing to join a terrorist organisation with the aim of revealing the Wizarding World to muggles... y'know, friends. And maybe her bookie.

Pansy does not need friends. What Pansy needs are some devoted minions. The standard crowd would be nice (Blaise Zabini, Tracey Davis, and especially Millicent Bulstrode) but Pansy's also Hufflepuff-friendly and is far more tolerant than you might expect of half-bloods. She's willing to rule a fairly wide variety of people with her iron fist - including her husband, Terence Higgs, who would be great to have in the game. We also allow people to play the relatives of canon characters, so if you've ever thought, "I'd really love to play Pansy Parkinson as a Hufflepuff," then Pansy's sister, Hyacinth, and niece, Violet, might be the girls for you.

Now, the main reason I'm posting today is because we're really in need of Hermione Granger. She got engaged to Ron at the beginning of the year, her best friend Ginny is expecting a baby but is keeping it a secret from nearly everyone, Ron might kill Harry (Ginny probably should have kept that secret a little better) and Hermione's level, frizzy head is exactly what's needed right now.
