Hi! My name is Lily, and I play Sirius over at ![[info]](https://www.insanejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) origomods (that's the mod account with all your relevant information: available characters, premise, and whatnot). The game opens Sept 1; it's a Marauder-era game with one community for Hogwarts happenings and one for out of Hogwarts happenings, so we have both adult and teenage characters available for picking up.
I'm writing in here to request two things; the first: a James! We have a Sirius and a Lily already in-game and a Remus app on the way and all of us would really, realllllly love to have a James to play with. :) For those of you who are bothered by that sort of thing, Sirius and Remus are not going to end up as a couple.
The second thing is just any sort of character. We have slots for Death Eaters (our Dolohov is particularly batshit, in the best way), for Order members--I've also got a Ravenclaw 7th year, so specifically some Ravenclaws would make me happy :) Anyway, we would love anyone who wants to join, but I am especially begging for a James!

Hello I'm Ruby and I'm the mod of ![[info]](https://www.insanejournal.com/img/community.gif) inishodriscol. We're a light-hearted social game that takes place in 2003 in a new wizarding neighborhood in Ireland. It's basically about the people who were touched by the war and watching them grow and actually get over it. It might have been five years, but people are still healing. We just opened, so there are a lot of great roles still available, but I'm here for ( some of my characters in specific. )
But if none of those roles tempt you, there are some other wanted lines by current players and, like I said before, lots of popular characters still open. We'd especially like to see more men in game as the ladies are sort of taking over as well as more Hufflepuffs and Ravenclaws.

Wesley Harper here. Not that I need an introduction. Of course, everyone knows what an amazing Seeker I am. Since I'm Captain this year, Slytherin is certainly going to win the Cup. I'm hiring talent, not money, so if you think you can fly worth your salt, I expect to see you on the pitch for try-outs. Urquhart and Vaisey better be there, if you know what is good for you. I've heard a rumour that Pritchard and Baddock might be decent on a broom. I don't put stock in verbal praise though, so if you think you have what it takes, you better come prepared.
Hufflepuff won't be much of a challenge (but are they ever?). Since their Captain is that girl I suspect the team will be stacked with wet blankets who've never actually flown properly in their lives. Rickett has been on the team in the past, but hopefully she has seen through his pathetic excuse for 'talent' and will replace him. Hufflepuff hopefuls will all try to do their very best, I'm sure. Too bad their best has never been brilliant.
Geoffery Hooper has expressed an absurd desire to play for Gryffindor this year. If he is the best they have to offer, I'm afraid even the lions won't pose much of a threat to Slytherin victory. Now that the Golden Boy has left school for good, they won't have favoritism to rely on. Perhaps they'll put that pathetic muggleborn, Dennis Creevey, on a broom. I'm sure that'd be good for a laugh. I'm sure no one is forgetting how terrible Andrew Kirke and Jack Sloper were two years ago, but with the slim pickings, maybe they'll grace us with the presence once more.
There isn't much to say about Ravenclaw. I just hope Headmistress McGonagall has the good sense to keep Loony Lovegood away from a microphone this year. She's likely to make bizarre comments about the the team's captain, Duncan Inglebee. What a name. I'm glad my mother loved me more than that.

may02 via may_mods is a canon game that picked up immediately after the Battle of Hogwarts. It is set in current time, so the new school year is about to begin. I'd love to see any of the aforementioned bolded students, but there are plenty of others available, including a handful of prefects!
If school isn't your thing, we also have many adult characters still available, including Percy Weasley, Lee Jordan, Hermione Granger, Neville Longbottom, Roger Davies, Adrian Pucey, Pansy Parkinson, S. Fawcett, Cormac Mclaggen, and others! Players are quite friendly, so it isn't difficult to get immersed into the game no matter who tickles your fancy to play.
