After being out of the Harry Potter community scene for a few years, I've found myself missing the familiar characters and magical situations. Despite my best attempts, shuffling through the general ad communities aren't getting me far in trying to find a community to try things out at again. Thus, I'd love some home suggestions!
I'd love a thread or thread/journal based game MWPP or Post-Hogwarts. I've played far more characters than I care to admit and, if there's any that are wanted more than others, I'd be happy to consider filling storyline requests (though I do tend to go for the somewhat less important characters.) I am a tad on the shy side, as well as a bit out of the loop, so it would have to be an open, not clique-like group who could stick with me while I get my bearings again. A moderate to smaller size game would be ideal, along that mindset.
I've played canon and AU and have no real preference between the two. I can handle dark or light, so long as there is some sort of actual plot with it. The only thing I'm rather against in games is large amounts of OCs running about.
Alternatively, I could readily go for filling this craving with a good PSL or two, if anyone would be willing to talk something fun and original (the plot, not the characters) out. I'd especially love to do an AU Tonks/Remus line (playing Tonks), but could readily for for a variety of other options.

Heya, I’m Alex and I’m looking to play Ron Weasley whether it be in a comm or a psl.
I’ve played him on and off for years but stepped out of the HP scene for a bit and whelp, now I’m back. It’s always a struggle to find an open Ron spot, you gotta get to a community just as it’s opening or else you’re pretty much out of luck. But I don’t know, I’d really like the chance to have at him again so if anyone knows any openings or wants to do a private storyline of sorts, they should definitely contact me.

Hi, I'm Kimberley.
Currently our game, Waking Pandora, is looking for a number of characters. I'm particularly interested in finding a Ginny again as she's super close to my Luna and sister to my Georgie.
I've been rping since 2003 over at LJ and am co-mod of this game as well as one of its players. Ginny's such a strong character and I miss seeing her around in the game. Would love, love, love to see her recast.
Now while I don't play any Slytherins, myself, I know that we are so very thin on Slytherin boys at the moment. Draco's available (past history with Mandy Brocklehurst) as is Theodore and Adrian (past history with the murdered Hannah Abbott. sad sad). I miss having the snakes around and I know our Pansy does as well.
Come check us out! We're a post-apocalyptic survival game where a virus started wiping out everyone and the survivors were placed into stasis only to wake 100 years later.
