Looking for Death Eaters. [09 Jul 2010|08:11am] Hi guys! I just picked up Harry Potter at internecine, which is a game that is AU after HBP and some of DH, and set in 2000. Basically, Voldemort managed to capture Harry and has been keeping him prisoner for 2 years. Most of the Wizarding World believes he's dead and as Voldemort has taken over, it's become slightly hopeless out there. I am hoping for some more Death Eaters before the game starts, as Harry's interactions will be limited to them until he's rescued/escapes. So if you have a baddie that's ever wanted to make life miserable for Harry, now's your chance. :) Specifically desired: Bellatrix, Lucius, Rodolphus, McNair, the Carrows. Okay, so anyone! The Light could also use some people. Ron, Hermione, Weasleys, Neville. Kingsley, Moody, Hestia Jones. The game is just starting out and there are a lot of popular characters left. [09 Jul 2010|09:36am] [ mood | cheerful ] Hi! I'm Emily, and I'm looking for players/characters for the fairly new (almost a month old!), super-unique mostly-postwarts next-gen game, The Alley. I play two characters there, former Quidditchy Hufflepuff Corrie Pye, who is working as a professional mascot for Pride of Portree (which her mum plays for, hello nepotism), and Roxanne Weasley, who is a Healer and a twin and probably the calmest person in the Weasley family (so far, anyway). In The Alley, wizards have technology, and the journals are blogs - so there's all kinds of awesome things you can have them do or talk about that wouldn't make sense in a normal book-journal game, like drunk texting, signing people up for online dating services, and email spazouts with references to spam and sockpuppet accounts. Oh, and wizarding celeb RPers. Hurry, hurry, hurry - you can't get this stuff anywhere else! We have a bunch of canon characters open still - Dominique, Louis, Molly and Hugo Weasley, and Lysander Scamander, and we somehow managed to not have any Longbottom children yet, which I think is a crying shame, personally! Younger kids would be awesome, especially muggleborns age 20-22, and boys are always brilliant! More wanted characters are here, and holds are here, and the more complete premise is here. Imagine a game of being taken against your will to a beautiful island, your character representing one of the Quidditch house teams and your task is to complete at tournament! [09 Jul 2010|06:13pm] Hey everyone! My name is Alexis and I currently play Tracey Davis over in the AU Harry Potter RPG, greatergood_rpg. The game is set in the year 2000 in an AU world controlled by Gellert Grindelwald. General gist of the game is that Grindelwald killed Dumbledore all those years ago and from then on he took over England and some countries around him. He's currently expanding his rule over certain other countries, and at the same time stopping the secret Class of Chrysanthemum that had been broken up into factions and is still against his whole rule. It's still the same Harry Potter characters though, and we're open to OC's as well. Anyway, as far as my character goes, Tracey is the daughter of Xander Davis, French Adviser to Grindelwald and is also the grand daughter of the French Acting Minister, Xavier Davis, the minister when Grindelwald is in England where he's usually at. That's how she pretty much attained her position as French-English Liaison for the Ministry in England. So I come here asking if anyone would like to take up Xander Davis or Xavier Davis in this wonderfully establised and very active AU RPG. We're also looking for more Weasleys! We already have our Molly and our Ginny, so it would be wonderful to see more of the Weasley brothers! We have a wide variety of characters from young to old, and the community's very active (at least several threads posted each day), so there is a lot of opportunity for plotting for all types of characters, especially for my three requested characters that play a huge role in Tracey's life. [09 Jul 2010|07:50pm] Hi! I'm from vicis_tempus, an AU MWPP rp which is scheduled to start around July 31. In the RPG the Marauders are in their 7th year of school, but we're also allowing Hogwarts alumni to partake in the game's activities so that we can show the progression of the wizarding war through various sides. Since the game hasn't opened yet, we have several main characters still open and needing a player. As Narcissa's player, I personally would love to have a Lucius. The two of them were married in May of this year so I'd like to explore their newly-married lifestyle in addition to their role within the Death Eater community, etc. I know Bellatrix's player would also love to see a Rodolphus!
