[info]may02 is set to open very soon. If you're looking for a post-battle game that picks up in canon immediately after the finale battle you should definitely check out [info]may_mods for information on how to apply. I'm currently playing Hannah Abbott [info]aprefect and Marietta Edgecombe [info]ihateyou! An assortment of light and dark characters of all ages are both welcome and loved.

A more specific list of wants include:

Neville Longbottom: In canon, Hannah grows up to marry him. We don't have to take it down that route but my Hannah would love to have him around for the sake of friendship and maybe more if it develops down that route in the future. At the moment, she's a bit heartbroken over the loss of her best friend, Ernie. I'd love to see Hannah and Neville continue to bond over all their losses and maintain the friendship they developed over their last (horrible) year at Hogwarts.

Ron Weasley: We've already got exceptional holds/players for Ginny, Hermione and Harry. A well-written Ron would be beloved by all. Hannah's even willing to toss him a few free rounds and friendly conversation on down the road.

Luna Lovegood: Every proper trio era game needs Luna around to bring her own special point of view into things. Everyone will probably be in the need for someone to make them laugh/forget about all the death that just happened.

Lucien Bole: His brother/cousin/whatever married Marietta's older sister Clarice. I'd love to work out some sort of associated by marriage line. They can get on or not get on but either way, the results could be priceless.

Cormac McLaggen: Marietta's mother considers Cormac's Uncle Tiberius a close friend via the Ministry. They could be childhood friends or annoyances or whatever. I'm completely open to developing some amazing dynamic there

Pretty much all major characters who are not taken would be amazing. Older supplemental characters would be lovely too. If you're interesting in developing characters and not afraid to write in period where there is a lot of grief and post war violent flare-ups, please bring a character here. I am open to developing lines with any and everyone one.

Hi! I have been out of HP roleplays for quite some time now, and I have found that I miss it quite a bit! I know that this is probably rather difficult to come by as of late, but I am looking for a Trio-era game that isn't terribly AU. For example, I'm definitely not fond of the time travel games or when characters ~magically~ come back from the dead. However, I'm definitely open to 7th year games in which some things have changed. I also really like war games and ones that are riddled with a lot of plot. I like the intensity of it all, which is kind of on the odd side but anyway! I don't have a problem with the lighter games though, either, as long as the plot is intriguing! :)

I am looking to play Hermione Granger and Daphne Greengrass. I play them both quite canonly; Hermione is and will always be in love with Ron, and Daphne is definitely a Slytherin. And although I'm not 100% positive, I might be able to drag a Terence Higgs along with me to any prospective games since we tend to pair him and Daphne together!

I wouldn't mind if the game is in the works and has yet to be started, as long as the mods are dedicated and won't let it die after a month or two!

I would also love to play Narcissa Black in a MWPP game.

Commenting here or via PM is my preferred method of contact right now! Thank you! :)

To Be or Not to Be is looking to fill a few very specific slots before our opening day in just over a week:

Neville Longbottom
Seamus Finnigan
Ernie Macmillan

This is a no-frills, straight DH EWE canon game that kicks off on May 2 (just after the Battle of Hogwarts). If you've wanted to explore characters in that world, we encourage you to take a look now so that you can be there at the start. The three characters above are particularly needed and wanted, but there are plenty of others available if those don't tickle your fancy.

The biggest thing I'd like to impart about our game is that we already have a strong core group. This will not be a game that you join only to have half of your character's friends disappear a couple of weeks into the game. Our cast is a comfortable mix of people who've played together in the past and new friends we've found during our planned 6-week casting process. We range in ages from early 20s to late 40s, but the overall maturity level is very high, because we have a much more stringent application process than many games. This is not out of a love for sending rejection letters, but because we want to build the strongest game possible, and we're willing to wait for that perfect applicant to do it. We are not elitist--it simply takes a well-written, thought out application to make it in the doors.

Because who doesn't hate waiting for necessary characters to be re-cast when the first person flakes after two weeks?

More information, if this sounds like your kind of game. )
