Hi everyone! I'm Holly and I'm coming to you searching for some hardy souls to app at ![[info]](https://www.insanejournal.com/img/community.gif) blurred_war via ![[info]](https://www.insanejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) bw_mods. Blurred War is a Grindelwald Era game set in 1943 just on the cusp of Grindelwald's declaration of war on Britain. It is set from January through August and is school based through June and then shifts to the frontlines of the war. The game is amazing with incredible mods, skilled, dedicated players, and a brilliant cast of characters. We (and by we I mean I and my characters) are looking for a few people to flesh out some storylines and the game in general.
Olive Hornby olived is searching for her brother Bartlett. Olive is a notorious trouble maker and the one who finds Moaning Myrtle's body (which is yet to happen) He is a fifth year Hufflepuff and hopefully someone that is either her partner in crime or turns a blind eye to her nastier tendencies. I have their family history worked out and they have two cousins in game, one cast and one we are also searching for once pureblood applications open back up.
Also Desmond Diggory dignify would like to see more of his fellow seventh year Hufflepuffs around especially girls as poor Rosemary and Evelyn are awfully lonely by themselves and he worries about them.
The game in general would also like to see more fifth year Hufflepuffs, Gryffindors and Slytherins especially fifth year Slytherin Inner Circle members to be buddies with fifth year Tom Riddle! darklord.
Slytherin Quidditch could use a few more members as Hufflepuff and Gryffindor are pretty full up and Ravenclaw is nearly so. Quidditch competition is intense and unbelievably fun.
The game itself is highly active, very welcoming of new players, and intricately plotted so there is always something to do.

Hello all! I came from blurred_war via bw_mods. Blurred War is a Grindlewald era game set in the midst of the WWII Era. The game already has a superb cast in place, but I come to you with one simple plea for more characters.
The 5th Year Hufflepuff boy's dorm is extremely sparse with only my Hector Dagworth-Granger [dagnabbit] to occupy it, and he would love to see some of his fellow 5th Year boys join him. There are five characters to choose from including HUMPHREY BELCHER who believed that cheese cauldrons were a fabulous idea, CUTHBERT MOCKRIDGE, future Head of the Goblin Liaison Office, & BARTLETT HORNBY, the younger brother of Olive Hornby [olived]: infamous Myrtle taunter. There are also two positions for free reign over the creation of your own character: the parent of someone from the MWPP era or the grandparent of someone from the Trio era.
Hector would also love a Potions rival in the form of LIBATIUS BORAGE in Ravenclaw 6th Year
There is also my 7th year Ravenclaw, Emrys Fletcher [fleecer], future father of Mundungus Fletcher. There are one spot left in the 7th year Ravenclaw dorms: KENNAN KIRKE, the elder brother of Jameson T. Kirke [jamesontkirke]: apprentice undertaker & healer in training, a lovely contradiction in terms. Emrys would love to see his dorm filled up. He would also love to see the rest of the Ravenclaw Quidditch team, the final Beater and their two reserves. But that's an entirely separate issue.
Speaking for separate issues, a lot of other spots also recently opened up that the game in general would love to see filled. I am speaking, of course, of the majority of the first generation Death Eaters. Tom Riddle [darklord] needs his minions, and at the moment WALDEN MACNAIR, AUGUSTUS ROOKWOOD, AVERY, & MULCIBER are MIA. These are the only pureblood spots that are going to be open in the game for awhile while the ratio is balanced out, so anyone that doesn't want to wait for a pureblood spot should jump on these ASAP. Because, really, who doesn't want to be a member of Riddle's exclusive boys' club?
And as long as we're on Slytherins, might I point out that the fifth year Slytherin Girls' Dorm is just as empty at the Hufflepuff Boys'? Is anyone interested in playing dowdy old IRMA PINCE when she was young and vibrant (or perhaps not so)? Or maybe you just want to make up your own character. The rest of the dorm is free reign with two MWPP era parent and two Trio grandparent slots each.
Or if Slytherins aren't your bag, you could always jump over to Gryffindor's 5th year section and hold MAGNUS MACDONALD, a boy crusading to bring the Scottish game of Creaothceann back into more mainstream play, WILBERT SLINKHARD, future author of Defensive Magical Theory, JACOB GOLDSTEIN, younger brother to Saul Goldstein [notpaul]: German lover, or [FEMALE] SPROUT, younger sister to Pomona Sprout [pomona]: Future Hogwarts Herbology Professor. Or, again, if you're feeling something outside of that vein, there are also free reign spots: one Trio grandparent for each male and female.
And lastly, The female dorm for Ravenclaw 6th Years is looking a little sparse as well. But who would want the agony of sharing a dorm with Myrtle Glumwiddle [woebegone]: the Ravenclaw's own personal fountain? Don't worry, girls. She'll be dead soon. And there are three Trio Grandparent slots and one MWPP parent slot that need to be filled. I'm sure poor Catriona McCormack [c_mc_c] would love someone else to help her deal with the ball of depressive mess that she calls her roommate.
blurred_war offers an interesting historical environment for characters to interact and evolve during the turbulent times of the second world war. I certainly hope that you consider joining us there.
