Hello everyone, I’m Jennifer and I’m currently looking for a new game (or two). I fit all age requirements and I’ve been playing online, tabletop, D&D, etc. for ten years. I’m willing to play a wide ride of characters, to get an idea of who I play, check out my character history here.
Right now, my Tonks muse is dying for a home. I haven’t played her as an adult in over a year and I would like a game with her open or a PSL opposite a Remus. I would also be open to playing Hannah Abbott, Katie Bell, Hermione Granger, Alice Longbottom (Marauder Era only), Marlene McKinnon, or Emmeline Vance. I want somewhere that’s thread based (no AIM based games, please), that won’t die out within a month, that has active mods, zero drama, and is organized. If you have any games you think may interest me please comment here, and also, lure me into your games (I don't want one-liners with the name and year, I want detailed description, really try to sell me on the games, or I won't even bother looking). Hey everyone! I come to you today on behalf of Foresight via ![[info]](https://www.insanejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) wethemods, an AU time travel game set in 1980. Visitors from different times in the future have begun appearing in 1980, creating an alternate timeline where anything could happen; people are also getting glimpses of the future they should have had in visions.
Characters I'm interested in seeing:
SIRIUS BLACK. We just lost our Sirius, and my Regulus is rather unhappy about this because they were just getting to be friends again. All the other Marauders are cast, as well as a future version of Sirius, but we really need a 1980 Sirius!
EDGAR BONES, FABIAN AND GIDEON PREWETT, EMMELINE VANCE, ALASTOR MOODY. We have a great Order, but they can always use more help! I play Caradoc, and Regulus is likely going to join the Order as well eventually, so I'd especially like a line of someone completely not trusting him.
THE LESTRANGES. We don't have any Lestranges, and since Regulus is now a traitor, it would be really cool to have family to despise him.
ALBUS SEVERUS POTTER. Albus has a little bit of in-game backstory; he is already in 1980, and he was kidnapped and tortured for information about a month ago, leading to his family going into hiding.
There are plenty of other characters available as well - more Death Eaters would be fantastic, as well as more neutral characters from 1980 and any Visitors at all who actually support the Death Eater cause and aren't just pretending - but these are the ones I'd especially like to see right now. So please come check out the game - it's a blast!

This one's a little different.
I'm Dee, and I'm hailing (today) from ![[info]](https://www.insanejournal.com/img/community.gif) from_the_ashes, which is a bandom (yes, those guys) AU in the HP universe. It's set present-day, with a young and inexperienced staff tackling a thoroughly trashed Hogwarts, and students almost as old as they are. There's plenty of scope for darkness, but also plenty of space for light-hearted mayhem. We're a casual game, more about creativity than structure.
I'm playing Gabe Saporta as the (Spanish) potionsmaster and head of Slytherin (inyrbasemnt). He (and I) would really, truly, dearly like to see a VickyT (for endless ribbing and flirtation) and a Nate Novarro (perhaps as school nurse, or a returning 7th-year?). I also hear word that Maja Ivarsson would get some glee, but there are many available options, and all would be welcome.

Well, not really. This is Lorcan Scamander, younger son of Luna and Rolf Scamander. He and his twin brother Lysander would really love to have their dad around. So Rolf, if you're watching, check out breaking_point via we_are_modly. It's a next gen game set in 2024, with very active plots (werewolves! political intrigue! zombies!...okay not zombies, but the dead are returning!) and players. Don't let the size of the cast list intimidate you, everyone is super nice and excited when new people join.
As for Rolf, he and Luna are still together in game, they live in Ottery St Catchpole, though they travel a lot. Sandy (Lysander) is a junior reporter at the Quibbler, and Lori (Lorcan) just began Healer training at St. Mungo's. Depsite that, Lori is definitely Luna's son, and can go on and on about nargles and crumple horned snoracks and montgrumbles and all sorts of other creatures. Sandy is more down to earth.
