![[info]](https://www.insanejournal.com/img/community.gif) one2ndchance is a post war, AU game set in 2001. The war happened four years ago and everything is finally rebuilt and back to normal. Minister Ponter and his anti-Pureblood ways are out and Ministress Whirlington is in. Unfortunately it looks like a small group of Death Eaters have been trying to distrupt the peace and calm that has been restored. But in between the negatives everyone is trying to simply live their lives. Proposals have been made, friendships have been broken, and despite everything life is continuing on. We are an active, fun and friendly game and despite the fact that we have been around for a long time, we are always willing to work with characters back stories. We are accepting applications for all open characters, but we are specifically looking for Hufflepuffs, Weasleys and male characters. Are you ready to take a second chance at a first impression?
We are looking for:
Ernie MacMillian: Hannah's brother from another mother, other half and soul mate. To call Ernie Hannah's best friend would be a huge understatement. They met their first night at Hogwarts and instantly bonded. Hannah was new to the wizarding world and nervous and Ernie was willing to explain everything in great detail, making her feel more comfortable with her surroundings. Since then they have been incredibly close, which can occasionally make their mates a little jealous, though they have never had romantic feelings toward each other.
Mrs. Weasley: Hannah has never had an actual conversation with her, but Sugar n Spice is in desperate need of a chef/cook/ear and she secretly thinks Molly would be a great addition. Not only would she be able to cook, Molly would have a chance to keep an eye on her children.
Blaise Zabini: Millie would/wouldn't like to see Blaise Zabini. She had a crush on him in school nd she'd probably fall to pieces if she saw him again. Blaise Zabini is her kryptonyte, she can stand up to anyone and everyone except him
Septima Vector: The Arithmancy professor at Hogwarts, and Aurora Sinistras BBF there. She could certainly use her around. She needs a gal pal! This person - aside from Kingsley - would be the person that she confides in about a lot of her issues.
Fred Weasley: George would like to have a properly run shop again and more ideas which means he'd like the help of his twin back from his travels to find more potion ingredients from around the world. He'd also like a Lee Jordan to pal around with.

My mate and I are out looking for options! Any game that needs a Bellatrix & Rodolphus Lestrange? The only preference we have is it isn't all fluff and would prefer to take out some muggleborns have some gruesome fun.

Hello! My name is Jamie and I am here on behalf of find_horcruxes (mod journal at ![[info]](https://www.insanejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) find_the_mod). Find the Horcruxes is an AU game that that takes place in 1979. The AU part of it is that Dumbledore knows about the horcruxes back during the first war and Trelawney never makes her infamous prophecy that leads to the demise of the Potters. I play a whole slew of characters over there, but I'm looking specifically for some characters for my Andromeda Tonks (foolofamum).
We currently have most of the Black family, but we are currently lacking a certain Bellatrix Lestrange. I would love to see her around as I play Andromeda and the game just wouldn't be complete without their hate floating around. Rodolphus Lestrange is also open for play and I wouldn't mind seeing him around as well.
More generally, we could also use more Death Eaters and other DE supporters because you can never have too much Muggle and Muggleborn snarking. There are also some open characters in the Order, including Peter Pettigrew. That's definitely not all, though, and you can see the full list of open characters here.

Still looking for games please! :D Thank you!- I'm open with
- Era; I'm not as familiar with Marauders, but have no preferences, really.
- Character - I would like to play a character who's got some friends/family/etc already in the game. In the past I've played: Ron, Fleur, Remus, Seamus, Susan, Theodore, and a couple other of the "name only" variety, but I am equally open to someone new.
- Student or Adult focus; I've played Hogwarts games, I've played out of Hogwarts games, I like 'em both.
- I would strongly prefer
- Canon (or canon feel), not AU or crack!
- Mainly thread oriented.
- Lower drama/drop rate, if possible, so I don't wind up with lots of backstory that then becomes useless when someone leaves.
- 18+, or an average player age of 23+. Younger players can be lovely, but every game I've joined that was not 18+ has had double the OOC drama/cattiness the ones that were 18+.
- Absolutes
- No marriage or shipping/smut oriented games. I don't mind romantic relationships in RP, but I don't want that to be the focus. I want to write a realistic character who interacts with plenty of people, not just a boyfriend or girlfriend.
- No very dark/violent games.
- No netspeak, I want to play with quality writers.
If you have a game that you think would suit, please tell me a little about it, and what characters are most needed? I've been looking for a good game the last month and a half or so, but not found anything that catches my eye, so any help is appreciated.
