Hey there!
I'm looking for a new game to ease me back into RPing. I'd really prefer something that hasn't started yet, no matter what sort of fancy timeline you have to catch new players up.
Aside from that criterion, I'd love if the game was set in Hogwarts. I'm willing to look into games centered around some other specific locale, such as an office or Ministry department, but I'm not really interested in those set anywhere larger than that.
I've never been involved in any next-gen games, but I'd be willing to give them a look. That said, however, I'd really prefer a Marauders' era game or one during the 80's.

Location- Insanejournal- journals, owls and threading
Premise: AU game set in 1971 (the Marauders first year) set in and out of Hogwarts so anyone can be played if they are alive in that year. It's AU as you aren't bound by the restrictions of canon- anything goes but Voldemort is on the rise but the Order is yet to be formed. Who will your character support? Who will they befriend? It's all up to you

Sirius Black- Same as James
Peter Pettigrew- Ditto
Avery- Lucius and Narcissa would love to see you in play
Severus Snape- Lily would love to see you
Rodolphus Lestrange- Lucius would love to see one of his best friends in play
Lord Voldemort- Will, who is is going to plot the downfall of muggleborns and things?
Dumbledore- The school is out of control!
BOYS- We have seven girls compared to three boys

Hi everyone! This little cutie is TERRY BOOT, one of the most recent characters at ![[info]](https://www.insanejournal.com/img/community.gif) sixdegreesrpg and he would like some more friends (ANTHONY GOLDSTEIN?) as well as men to awkwardly flirt with. 6 Degrees is a unique game, in that the cast is small and each character has established relationships upon their entrance into the game. (For example, Terry had roommates in the forms of Hannah Abbott and Parvati Patil, two characters he was unlikely to really know well without that established connection!)
The premise is that every character is connected to each other character within 6 degrees of separation (more or less). This widens the game so that interaction between all characters are likely and don't seem contrived (tired of games where the only way to meet a new character is a random bump-in on the street? Then sixdegreesrpg is for you!). Anyway, the game is looking for a few characters at the moment, including TERRENCE HIGGS, PARVATI PATIL, and MARCUS BELBY among others.
