Are You Dysfunctional? [04 Feb 2009|10:02am] Hola, I'm writing on behalf of a wonderful game known as unhappilyever. We're full of fabulous drama and adventure, a post-Hogwarts game that takes place in present day and is akin to a Soap Opera. You may have seen some other players looking for specific characters around, and in fact we now have a list available of specifically wanted storylines and characters. Of course you shouldn't feel like those are your only options. There are plenty of characters and dysfunctions available that we would be more than happy to see. But this post is a little more specific. I'm kind of hoping to find a player willing to play a character opposite my Myron Wagtail (ala the Weird Sisters), whether this be a friendship of bromantic proportions, or even a little more gay than that. I'm down for whatever, it's more the PB that I would like to see. ( explanation ) This post proved far more image heavy than originally planned. [04 Feb 2009|02:03pm] Hey I'm looking to play a young Rodolphus Lestrange or Ted Tonks in a pre-marauder or post-marauder war era game. I'm particularly interested in some place where I can develope not only their relationship with their respective future spouses, but also how the current social climate cultivates them into becoming who they are. Rodolphus, in particular, would be well suited in a game that has a developing Death Eater plot. I'd love to play him as an emerging baddie finally getting his first taste of blood (so to speak). Also of interest would be a somewhat abusive, yet strangely loving, relationship with his (preferably younger) brother, Rabastan. As for Bellatrix - I'd like very much for her to be on toe with him (re: strong, outspoken, assertive). My Rodolphus would not do well with a weak willed or wall flower partner. You can read my Rodolphus' full bio here - which was, in fact, written for a former game but can be easily be adapted to fit new situations. As for Ted - I'm very interested in threading out the development of his relationship with Andromeda. If they are already married in the time-frame of the game, I'd still love to do a few backlogs. He would do best in a game that has a well rounded cast of characters to include purist muggleborn haters and loving muggleborn huggers. I'd like to develope his adapting to the magical world and how he deals with the prejudice the surronds him. He currently does not have a biography written, but I imagine him to be a (former) Ravenclaw, a bit of a goofball, fairly laid back, and curious about everything. Aside from the marauder-era, I'd also love to develope a Post-DH Draco Malfoy. Preferably in a game that is only 1-2 years after the 7th year events. I'm interested in watching him struggle to adapt in a world where his family name is not only no longer accepted as word of law but is, in fact, almost a brand of shame. How he deals with the reality of his actions and their consquences should make for some very interesting developement. A game that has an active Pansy Parkinson would be a plus.  Draco's bio can be read here - though it does not yet include anything about 7th year or the events thereafter. Snitched Needs YOU. [04 Feb 2009|04:23pm] Hello everyone. I'm Katy on behalf of snitched via snitched_mods. Snitched is a AU game in the middle of a war. Currently the Death Eaters are winning. Lord Voldemort has made a return to England. Severus Snape has just been captured by the Order. Slaves are being sent off to various owners. But we have a few empty spots we'd like to see filled. Namely the following. Rabastan Lestrange: Rabastan comes with ready made plot. He is married to Danielle Edgecombe, Minister Employee, Inner Circle Member. Amycus Carrow: His sister would very much like to see him around. Arthur Weasley: The Weasley children would like to see their father around! Gabrielle Delacour: Her sister is in play and would like to see Gabrielle around. Michael Corner: Michael is wanted by his best friend Anthony Goldstein as well as by Lisa Turping. My name is Joy and I'm one of the mods over at gen_next via gn_mod where I play a whole plethora of characters that include Dominique Weasley, Charlie Warrington, Bridget Grunnion, Tess Macmillan, William Dorny, and Shaka Khan. We are a Next Gen post-warts game set in the year 2024 where everyone ranges from the ages of 18-21. We very recently re-opened after a minor break that the game took over the holidays but we are back up and running, and there are plenty of spots open. In particular, I'm looking for the character GEOFFREY KHAN for Shaka. They are the children of Padma Patil and her husband Ankur Khan. Shaka is a very serious, driven person who is all work and no play. She's very political, making sure to make all the right friends in the right places. She's itching for a spot on the Wizengamot and she doesn't have time for silly games. Geoffrey is her party animal brother who has no drive and just likes to have fun. He's pretty much the complete opposite of Shaka and a complete disappointment in her eyes because she believes he's not going anywhere with his life, except maybe on the street corner with a can. ALSO, Tess Macmillan and Grace Entwhistle would love to have the other Ravenclaw girls around and William would really like his older brother Kendric and his younger sister Natalie to talk to! As a game, we'd love to have more SLYTHERINS around. We're also in need of several key characters, including COLIN LONGBOTTOM (Abby Finnigan has an insane crush on you!), RUSSELL BONES (Your girlfriend Maddie Bell is looking for you), LUKE JORDAN (Roxy Weasley needs a partner in crime) and SCORPIUS MALFOY (The Slytherins would love to have ickle Malfoy around) If you are interested in anyone here, come on down and check out all of our information at gn_mod!
