I'm an experienced and friendly role player looking for a character with ready-made plot in the Harry Potter verse. I want to apply to a game and jump in knowing that I won't be ignored or brushed aside by other players who have been there longer and who aren't interested in new blood.
What I want in a game:
1. Be friendly. Please. Lots of games say they're friendly, but when you get in, it's like pulling teeth getting others to plot with you or even talk to you. I don't want that.
2. I'll take established or new, it doesn't matter, but don't advertise to me with a game that's on the verge of dying or where only a handful of people are keeping it alive.
3. Mods who aren't on a power trip and who don't violate players' rights to get their way.
4. Good grammar. Please.
Who I will play:
1. I will play almost anyone from any era as long as there's ready-made plot attached to the character. Someone high in demand and someone other players want to have in the game would be perfect.
2. At the same time, I would like to have creative freedom with this character. I don't want to be given a box and be told 'Here, fit into this'.
3. While ships are nice, please don't advertise to me if all you want is someone to fill in the second half of your ship. The exception to this is if there's other attached plot.
4. I'd rather not be offered a character that's slated to die in game.

Hi there! I am Emily, and I come on behalf of ![[info]](https://www.insanejournal.com/img/community.gif) blurred_lines for two different requests.
Firstly, on behalf of the rather unfortunately named Akhil Patil, future father of Parvati and Padma. He's an Auror and would appreciate seeing some of his younger siblings! There are, uh, six Patils (not including spouses, parents and children, which brings it to a grand total of fourteen) and a couple of them fit into our playable categories.
The most desirably would be the middle brother, Kumar Patil, who is about 23 now. He's a hitwizard (we also need more hitwizards please!) and a former Hufflepuff. He and Akhil had the sibling-rivalry thing going on the most out of any of the boys, and is married, as a heads up. But no kids.
Then there's Kiran Patil, the youngest brother. He's a full decade younger than Patil, ringing in at a formidable 18 years old. He's either a trainee Auror or trainee Hitwizard, and a former Slytherin. Being the youngest of the group, he could go two ways. Spoiled to death or slightly ignored and annoying.
Secondly, I come for my Death Eater, Demetrius Mulciber. And would like to request his MOTHER, Anastasia. His mother is, for all intents and purposes, an airy-fairy, romantic lady, she's rather quirky really, there's more about her but I don't feel the urge to babble. She is a good wholesome nine years younger than her husband, and comes from a good Pureblood family in Greece. The Death Eater base in blurred_lines is pretty intense, so she'd definitely find somewhere to fit in among the pureblooded ladies. Her husband does love her in his special way, but is IRON FISTED and etc. etc. :) We would both love to have her!
We're all ridiculously friendly players, and we welcome new people wholeheartedly. Our game is large, but we have summaries of everything that goes on and I would not hesitate to help fill anyone in. I can be reached on AIM at xx emmanator, or you can just reply here if you're interested.
Other than the previously requested, we could honestly use anyone you'd like to play, and no matter who you bring in you're guarenteed instant plot. People of interest we'd like would be: Jugson, Thorfinn Rowle, male Aurors and HITWIZARDS.
