Hi RPers! I'm Zee and I play Parvati Patil (![[info]](https://www.insanejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) patil) at The Republic (![[info]](https://www.insanejournal.com/img/community.gif) republic_rpg via republic_mods, a trio-era postwarts dark RPG. The game is canon until the end of the battle of Hogwarts, when Harry was killed in the forest. Voldemort took over the wizarding world, muggle-borns were thrown in Azkaban and the DA were put under surveillance. We're active without being overwhelming, dark without an overload of angst, and have what I consider to be a great balance between dark mod-controlled plot and lighter player-controlled plot. We're also a very friendly bunch of people, and would love to see some new players and characters.
I come with a few specific requests:
Padma Patil! My Parvati needs her twin! I'm very willing to work out background and relationship dynamics with any potential applicant, so let me know if you're interested and/or check out Parvati's profile here. There's plenty of DA members around for her to interact with, so instant plot is pretty much guaranteed!
Gryffindors! Ron Weasley and Neville Longbottom in particular for plot purposes but I would personally love a Seamus too. We have Hermione, Parvati, Lavender, Dean and Ginny already cast for you to play with, and the rest of the DA in need of guidance.
Muggle-borns! S. Roper, Sally-Anne Perks, Eloise Midgen, Lisa Turpin and Kevin Entwhistle have been designated muggle-borns for plot purposes. They'll just be getting out of Azkaban as they get picked up, and our current muggle-born players have played out their 2-week "induction" period. While they can't be members of the DA, there'll be opportunities for them to get involved via old school-friends, and they'll have plenty of plot.
If none of these take your fancy, we have a bunch of other characters open, so check out our character list here! I promise we're a fun game and I'm really enjoying being a part of it. As an extra incentive, players in the game can pick up an NPC Death Eater or Order member for plot purposes without an application or activity requirements. Hope to see some holds coming in soon! I'm Lydia, and I'm here on behalf of theministrymods / mm_rpg, a Harry Potter game that's centering around the election of the Minister of Magic after Kingsley Shacklebolt retires. Anyone can be a candidate, and no candidate is safe once running from scandals, backlash, and even attempted murder. I play Harry Potter, and I'd love to see the following characters:
~ RON WEASLEY! Harry needs his best friend. We have a Hermione and a Ginny already, so there's plenty of interaction there for Ron.
~ DRACO MALFOY! The Chosen One (ha, ha) is nothing without his archrival, and in a game centering around political intrigue and scandal (and maybe even a little murder), there's plenty for Draco to plot about.
~ SIRIUS BLACK! The game lets characters who have died in the series be played without the back-from-the-dead hoax, and I know it's a long shot, but Harry having his godfather around would be way fun to play out. Plus Sirius as a candidate? Would be killer.
~ NEVILLE LONGBOTTOM! How amazing is Neville? He'd be perfect candidate material.
Any character is welcomed and needed. We're a small game so far, and we're waiting for a few more characters to open. Please come check us out!
