Hello hello! I'm McKenzie, and, well.. technically not in play at the moment considering the game hasn't officially started. Which it won't, not until we have enough players.
The game is The Ministry (![[info]](https://www.insanejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) theministrymods), and it's essentially a game centering around the election of a new Minister of Magic (Kingsley has just recently retired, and it's 2008). I think what makes the idea of the game interesting is that it's not just some mod-chosen NPC that's eventually elected, but a Ministry affiliated character being played in the game. If you're really motivated by politics and policy (and charged by the recent election), then you're able to choose a character and have them campaign for the position-- which includes the drama, scrutiny, gossip and slander that comes with any political campaign.
So far, pretty much any character is open, including those who have died previously in the books from unnatural causes (i.e. Cedric Diggory, Remus Lupin, Severus Snape, Sirius Black, etc...).
And I'd love for some Slytherin males to join. Or older Quidditch players, even. I'm playing Adrian Pucey, and he really needs the male comradery. >>
