[07 Sep 2008|01:00am] Hello all! I'm Mady and I'm here on behalf of gen_next, via gn_mod! This is a next generation game that 1) is focused on fun, 2) has two of the BEST MODS AROUND, 3) has some fantastically amazing and friendly players, and 4) is a lot of fun. Just because it's focused on having fun though doesn't mean there's no plot! There are many planned events that the students can journal about afterwards -- all this shows how planned and thought out this game is. The mods are two of the most amazing people I've talked to and they're invested in this game -- really invested and not planning to let go of it anytime soon. As well as the mods being more than amazing, the players are too. We have group chats that mostly everyone participates in and we have really bonded as a group. Not many games have a whole group of people who know each other so well. We still have a lot of characters open and we'd love it if you could take a look around the game! It's really pretty ;). Some of the characters we would absolutely LOVE and ADORE would be LUKE JORDAN, my character Victoria McLaggen's fellow prefect. She is basically a loss without him because she is a terrible prefect (so terrible, in fact, that she has no idea what to do and that she has no idea she can abuse her Prefect powers). Other characters would be SARAH LAWSON, ALICE LONGBOTTOM, SCORPIUS MALFOY, and some FIFTH YEAR BOYS, please!! Hufflepuffs in general would be appreciated :D! Please check this game out! post comment

WEASLEYS PLEASE! [07 Sep 2008|08:44am] [ mood | bouncy ] Hi! My name's Emily, and I'm here to tell you about Brave New World, a next-gen HP game that is both awesome and in DIRE NEED OF WEASLEYS. Seriously. We have all the Potterspawn covered, but the only Weasley we have is Dominique (the lovely domi_natrix). She would most definitely love to see a Louis (or, as I like to call him, Loogie), Victoire or her best bud, Fred. My Teddy Lupin (flashily) wouldn't mind seeing Victoire either - he has history with her, obviously, and besides which it'd be delightful to have more adult women for him to flirt with. Molly, Lucy, Roxanne, Rose and Hugo are also open! Seriously, we have a drought of Weasleys. Smart Weasleys, dumb Weasleys, stuck-up or sweet or whatever, we need 'em. ALSO, we need popular people. You know, the stereotypical why-are-you-popular-oh-right-it's-because-you're-pretty people. For some reason we don't seem to have many of them. We're pretty low on 7th-year Slytherins, too, perhaps you could do both at once! If you help fill these needs I will bake you four dozen delicious cookies. I have found that I really miss being apart of a community and I really want that to change. Here are the characters I really, really want to play - Harry Potter, Hermione Granger, Sirius Black, Remus Lupin, Lily Evans, Angelina Johnson, Percy Weasley, Draco Malfoy, Scorpius Malfoy, Regulus Black, George Weasley, Lee Jordan, Daphne Greengrass. I am open to other characters too. I'd love to be able to do some slash ships since I hardly if ever get to do them. I am most interested at getting able to play the first four. Although, Harry is my favorite to play, along with Hermione. I love any era but I have really been looking to do Hogwarts era. I love when they are all in school. But for Remus and Sirius, I'd love Marauder era. Post-DH is fine too, though. If any community wants Harry/Draco or Sirius/Remus or Hermione/Ron, I would be overly excited. My name is Piper, and I'm here as a player from parabolical, where I play Nymphadora Tonks. parabolical is a large and active multifandom game with characters from almost every fandom I can think of, both popular and obscure. It's set in the Joss-verse Los Angeles (ie, Buffy and Angel), but I can assure of the fact that not everyone is familiar with Buffy and Angel, the mods don't require a familiarity with those 'verses, and, to be honest, if you don't want them to come into play with your characters, then they won't. The game is big enough, believe me. Now, as for why I'm here? MORE HARRY POTTER CHARACTERS, PLS!!! Currently we have: Albus "Al" S.
