About me and the character I play: Hello! I'm Xan, and I'm the moderator at the Republic, a dark AU Trio-era Post-warts game that is DH-compliant up until the end of the first half of the Battle of Hogwarts. The AU turning point is that when Harry went into the forest this time, Voldemort successfully murdered him and the Death Eaters have been in control of the wizarding world using the Ministry as a front ever since. I also play Justin Finch-Fletchley, Anthony Goldstein, and Daphne Greengrass.
Character wanted to fill an SL & why:
1. THE LAST DA MEMBERS -- The majority of our DA spots have already been cast, but we still need Dean Thomas for our Seamus, as well as Katie Bell, Angelina Johnson, Alicia Spinnet, Lee Jordan, and Cho Chang. There has already been a lot of plot underway for this part of the cast, so you would have interaction for sure.
2. MUGGLE-BORNS IN HARRY'S YEAR -- Some kids in Harry's year have been designated as Muggle-born for plot purposes. The way this is done in the game is a little different than usual and there is a run-down of the necessary backstory here, but in short, they cannot have been in school during DH and must have been in Azkaban at some point prior to being on a conditional release for having a skill useful to the Ministry (not the same as slavery). As I'm playing Justin, I would especially love to see Eloise Midgen and Sally-Anne Perks.
3. DEATH EATERS -- There is a major DE/Ministry plot coming up on September 1, but no DEs to help put it into action. I fully understand that people are less inclined to apply for adults if there aren't others around, but I am hoping to change that ASAP. Some current players in the game have expressed taking up DEs for additional characters, so you wouldn't be the only ones for long. Bellatrix Lestrange and the Carrows would be especially appreciated.
4. OTHER -- Neutrals (Wayne, Stephen, Mandy, Morag), adult Order members, older former students (eg. Penelope, Cormac, Oliver), Narcissa Malfoy.

About me and the character I play: I'm Alicia, and I play Narcissa Malfoy (maternal) at dontsayaword! This is a Harry Potter MWPP game with a unique twist- set in 1980, it explores what would have happened if Voldemort was in power, masking his operations under a corporation called Hallow Industries with the Pureblood "Aristocracy" running the government. Narcissa is very influential in public relations- after all, what is a better symbol of the future than a mother and newborn baby?
Character wanted to fill an SL & why: LUCIUS MALFOY! Narcissa needs a husband, Baby Draco needs a father, and Lucius is needed in general as one of the highly influential aristocracy board members :D OTHER DEATH EATERS/ARISTOCRACY would be amazing as well (Narcissa needs a support group!) Less needed for Narcissa and more needed for the game are OTHERS- Order members, civilians, TED TONKS, Ludo Bagman, RODOLPHUS LESTRANGE, you name it!

A few of these are a re-post, but I'm still looking for homes. The first one is new, though. :)
→ Gideon & Fabian Prewett. We've played them as simply brothers and as twins, but either way these two are each the mirror of the other. Gideon is the older, wiser, more level one, the conscious and rational half. Fabian is the younger, impetuous, wild and daring one, who gladly drags his brother along for whatever adventure is next- though he protests, Gideon usually wants to come along anyway. Hogwarts or post-Hogwarts game! (If Marlene McKinnon was available, that would definitely be a bonus!)
→ Daphne Greengrass. My Daphne is the strict rule-adhering Pureblood girl everyone's raised her to be... except she's a bit too pro-Women's Lib for most of the Pureblood boys. She's not afraid to get her hands dirty to get what she wants- whether that's in quidditch or politics. A post-Hogwarts game, please.
→ Miles Bletchley. Miles is the golden son of the Bletchley family, he who can do no wrong. And he loves every bit of it. He's a proud supporter of Voldemort (and a Death Eater), and a Ministry man (Department of International Magical Cooperation - International Magical Office of Law). Post-Hogwarts games with an active dark plot, and with K. Bundy available. Placed! :)
