Hi I am Fi, I am here on the behalf of A New Initium a AU game that is cannon all the way up till after the war ended in Deathly Hallows. Set in 1998 it is now September, the wizarding world slowly starting to regroup from the war and life is back to normal. The ministry, and new headmistress, Minerva McGonagal, came up with a plan. They offered an 8th year to those who should have finished so they could get a proper year of schooling and complete everything they needed to. They would have extra liberties as they would be of age, but everyone would be in school nonetheless.
The ministry is getting organize as well, but things are slightly different. To find out more feel free to look here.

Hi! I'm Dee, and I'm a mod at ![[info]](https://www.insanejournal.com/img/community.gif) seditio, we just rewound our game to the summer prior to the Marauder's sixth year, and we are beginning again with a bang, first order of business being our very own rock festival, to be held at Loch Lomond in July, known as Lochfest 76!
We are looking for a few people. Roddy misses his Bellatrix and the 5th year Slytherins would love to see Barty Jr. The Gryffindors would love to have Frank and Alice Longbottom among their number, while Rita Skeeter would be a blast!
Sirius would love to see his cousin Andi, too, and her husband Ted!

Hello! I'm Julia and make all age requirements (sadly!). I've been rping for over three years and love getting deeply involved in games. I also mod my own game and just want a place to kick back and relax (RE: no drama, no cliques where my characters aren't replied to, friendly and involved mods, etc). I know both these characters are long shots so if you happen upon this post in a few weeks, feel free to comment anyway!
Character[s] wanted: Mostly Draco Malfoy. Possibly Remus Lupin in a trio-era school setting.
What I want in a game:
For Draco: AU is a strong preference. I'd like either an adult aged game OR while in school. Why AU? Simply put, I don't much like the concept of the other Greengrass sister and I don't wish to be forced into any sort of romantic plot with *anyone* unless there's chemistry.

For Remus: While I enjoy Remus/Tonks and have played it out before, I again don't want to be forced into anything. An active Harry is a major bonus.

For both: I like mods who realize this is a game and give their players creative license. I RP to write a different story from the ones told already. I like players who are open to newcomers and allowing stories to develop naturally in character. For this reason, I think AU is my best bet at this point, BUT if you have a canon based game with such freedom, I'll definitely take a gander. I also REALLY want a game that is set to last more than a few months. Also, mods who understand I have a RL and can't necessarily post/reply every day.
What I don't want in a game:
-Players/mods who ridicule (whether they are condemning those in game or out)
-Expectation to be on AIM. I prefer MSN, the OOC, and email for plotting.
-A crazy banned list (yet, I DO want mods who know how to say no to those faces who just won't work --- i.e. wrong hair color, wrong age).
-Long winded replies. My replies vary on the characters and scenes. I've written six paragraphs and I've written two sentences. It all depends and is much more natural to me. I don't want to feel as if I have to write a minimum of 10 sentences every time I reply to someone.
Where do you prefer? IJ/LJ/GJ/SCRIBBLD/OTHER: IJ is my strong preference, but I'm really looking to branch out so I will consider LJ or Scribbld.

Hi! I'm Kacey and I play Lily Potter, Mandy Brocklehurst, and Narcissa Malfoy over at time_of_trial/trial_mod, An Alternate Universe game. Our plot basically revolves around what would've happened if James Potter had killed Voldemort during the attack at the Potters- and how things would've been different. We've been since January 19th and have recently decided to re-start the game. We are in desperate need of a Draco Malfoy and a Ginny Weasley. Both have no backstory. Hi there, my name is Sam and I'm writing here on behalf of Mischief Managed, an original character, contemporary Harry Potter RPG currently seeking talented writers. Hi there! My name is Hannah and I am one of the mods over at rejuvenate. Rejuvenate is a trio-era game, set post-warts in 2000. It is DH compliant, with a few minor changes like the twins being alive and Charlie being dead instead. The basis of the game is that the Ministry is attempting to force change by making everything equal and are attempting to show that various fun ways. Like journals, punishment for everyone who participated in the war, Order included, ect. We just opened the first and we're doing very well so far with some fantastic players and great interactions already so I'm very excited.
But anyway. I have three people over there.
The first I have is Jack Sloper sloped. He is a muggle-born a year behind the trio so he is 19 years old and was an ex-Gryffindor. He is a total sweetheart, attempts to get along with everyone and he really doesn't do anything wrong. I would love for there to be more Gryffindors his age, or in any house just more people his age so he can have friends, and people he doesn't mind but they hate him. He doesn't really dislike people.
The second I have is Ophelia Bradley opehliab. She is a pureblood a year in front of the trio and is a DE supporter. She loves dancing and Quidditch and so is very passionate about those. She is very demure and quiet, but also slightly sarcastic when it suits her. I'm still getting used to her, but I would love more people she could get along with, Ravenclaws, or just DE's and DE supporters.
And then my final is Myron Wagtail wags. Myron is currently 30 and the lead singer of the Weird Sisters. He is more or less one of the spokespersons for the Ministry and so he has to be nice and all. Which isn't bad, but could be more fun if he had the rest of the Weird Sisters to bitch about it to. But sadly so far there are none so obviously this needs to be rectified.
Well aside from those people I know that Ginny would love THE REST OF THE WEASLEYS and then we have a Zacharias but we need the rest of the HUFFLEPUFF GANG as well as :una, Michael, Terry and Anthony would love the rest of the RAVENCLAW BOYS AND GIRLS and then more characters in general are fantastic and we want them.
