Hello! I'm Katy and I'm one of the mods at ![[info]](https://www.insanejournal.com/img/community.gif) first_rise, a new MWPP that opened two weeks ago.
We are looking for some Ministry Workers to come join the ranks. Also, we'd love to see Hestia Jones, Minevra McGongagall and Walden McNair come along.
first_rise is made up of some very dedicated and talented players and if you enjoy threading rather than just journaling back and forth between characters, this is the game for you.

Also, Michael Corner for a mid-war backstory SL with Liesbeth.
Why Euterpe's Corner?
It's post-war, revolving only around the 18-30 demographic of witches and wizards living in a building in London called Euterpe's Corner. The building itself is just as full of life as Hogwarts was, what with disappearing walls, moving staircases, etc.
Players are all experienced and have well-developed characters and I can vouch for at least 7, including the mods, whom I've played with in the past. That being said, there aren't any cliques in the game, and everyone is friendly and love new blood. Also, the mods are experienced and not overbearing. I've had a year and half worth of experience playing under one, and the other I've played with for exactly the same length of time.
It's so brand new that it doesn't start until July 1.
There's a cap of 3 characters per player, so no one player has monopoly of the game with their 8 billion characters.
It's journal-based, primarily run through first person journal entries and comments. But supplemented by logs/threads.
As far as plottage goes, it's doesn't have any sort of dark, political overarching game plot - but instead leaves you free to follow your own character driven plots and explore them in this much lighter context. I also have plenty of backstory ideas to establish familial or social connections if you're interested.

Hi there! I'm the mod over at snuffbox and I've come looking for some characters to fill the game up.
Aside from pretty much everyone, we'd all really like to see Seamus Finnigan, Harry Potter, Ron Weasley, Ginny Weasley, Luna Lovegood and Neville Longbottom. We'd really like to fill up the DA for some Deathly Hallows centric plot. Aside from that, Hermione, Lavender and Parvati would love to see all of them. Besides them, however, we're also looking for Ernie MacMillan, Justin Finch-Fletchley, Hannah Abbott, Megan Jones, Terry Boot, Michael Corner, Anthony Goldstein, Pansy Parkinson, Tracey Davis and Blaise Zabini amongst others. We're really friendly, we keep things like this short and sweet and the game just started on Friday.
We're looking for you to come join us and reenact Deathly Hallows the way you think it should be played out. So come join us today for some good, HP fun. Looking forward to seeing more applications come in soon.
And naturally, a small note to those who had holds up and got deleted; IJ deleted all of the comments on our character list, so if you're still interested, go ahead and put up another hold. Hope to see everyone soon!

Hi, I'm Emma! I haven't role-played in awhile, but have a lot of experience and am interesting in finding homes for a couple of the following characters.
MWPP - Benjy Fenwick, Future Mrs. Lovegood (would prefer to use the name I've picked out for her)
TRIO/POSTWARTS - Hannah Abbott, Terry Boot, Mandy Brocklehurst, Michael Corner, Daphne Greengrass, Demelza Robins
FUTUREWARTS - Finch-Fletchley spawn (preferable female and again, I'd like to pick my own first name for him/her), Victoire Weasley
I'm not terribly picky, but the most important thing is that I want an ACTIVE game that isn't going to die anytime soon. Also, I'd rather be apart of a game where the focus is more on character development and plot rather than shipping, etc. Finally, I am only interested in games on Insanejournal.

I'm looking for a place to play Dominique Weasley, either in a time-warp game or post-DH game. I'm an active player with experience, and I'd prefer a plot-based game rather than social or shipping.
You can find Dominique's profile in her journal, but in short, she's a rebellious girl stuck in her sister's shadow. She's a bit vain, has lots of attitude, and is extremely stubborn. She also has a huge crush on Teddy Lupin, whether or not he knows she exists outside of being Victoire's little sister.
I'd like an active, friendly, welcoming game without cliques and with quality writers - no overboard of spelling and grammar mistakes, no Netspeak, and some maturity. I like dark themes, but I'm open to just about anything.
